1 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

- The purpose of this document to facilitate identifying and communicating the key steps
and actions required as part of the said MBC Activation and to ensure that ALL parties
are aware of the documentation that is required. All parties must sign the MOP for the
upgrade to commence if satisfied that all roles, responsibilities & actions are clearly
understood and in place. On completion of the full upgrade procedure, all parties must,
again sign the MOP listing any outstanding items identified with a specified completion
date. It is not the intention of this document to replace any of the implementation
procedures nor is it part of the standard deliverables.
- The involved NE descript in the NIW Request by Ericsson Project (ITC Coordinator or
Implementation Manager)
- The impact activity will cause outage during implementation on correlated node
- Correlated node will be down for 1 Hour during configuration.
- Before activity prerequisites of this activity should be fulfilled such as
 NIW Approval from Customer
 RBS Health Check
 Access to enter site should be secure
 RBS Should have No Major Alarm, any major Alarm should be got approval from
Customer via ITC Coordinator or Ericsson Implementation Manager

2. Reconfigure of DUG 1

 Activate NGS as priority 1

Summary of Disturbances
The table below shows a summary of the expected disturbances during the RBS implementation:

8 ROLLBACK OPERATION

Detailed of activity
- Fallback will be done in case either the site is not coming up at all or calls are not getting
matured for the RBS site.
- Decision of the fallback with the CU SPOC for the RBS site with approval from Customer
through ITC Coordinator and Implementation manager
