TABULATION

1. Tabulate the following data:


In 2005, out of a total of 3000 workers in a factory, 2300 were skilled workers.
The number of women employed was 300 out of which 250 were unskilled.
In 2006, the number of skilled workers was 2750 of which 2500 were men. The
number of unskilled workers was 760 of which 300 were women.

2. Tabulate the following data:


In a commerce college, the number of students in F. Y. B. Com, S.Y. B. Com and
T. Y. B. Com were 560, 535 and 525 respectively. There were 250 boys in F. Y.
B. Com and the rest were girls. The number of girls in S.Y. B. Com was more
than the number of boys by 95 while in T. Y. B. Com, the number of girls was
double the number of boys.

3. Tabulate the following data:


Out of the total number of 10000 candidates who appeared for a test by U.P.S.C.,
6854 were males, 3200 were graduates and others undergraduates. The number of
graduates with some experience was 2640 of whom 1860 were males. The
number of male graduates was 2050. The number of graduates with experience
was 1125, which included 375 females.

4. Tabulate the following data:


In a market survey of 2500 women in Mumbai, exactly one fourth were non-
Maharashtrians. 15 out of every 25 women were employed and the ratio of
employed and unemployed Maharashtrian women was 3:2. Sixty percent of
employed Maharashtrian women and 20% of employed non-Maharashtrian

women were married. The number of unmarried Maharashrian women who were
unemployed was 325 and 145 unmarried non-Maharashtrians were unemployed.

5. Tabulate the following data:


In 2003, out of 2000 students appearing for HSC examination at a centre, 785 had
opted for Mathematics and the remaining for Secretarial Practice. The number of
girls was 1050 of whom 850 had opted for Secretarial Practice.
In 2004, the number of students with Mathematics as the optional subject was
875, of which 615 were boys while the number of students with Secretarial
Practice decreased to 1185 of which 795 were girls.
In 2005, the total number of students increased by 150 and increase in the number
of boys was double the increase in the number of girls. Out of 1400 students who
had opted for Secretarial Practice, 935 were girls.
