I am writing to apply for the Maersk Accelerated Apprenticeship, as advertised on Maersk Line

website. I am degree holder of Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Hons) in Marine Electrical &
Electronic at University of Kuala Lumpur Malaysian Institute of Marine Engineering Technology
(UniKL MIMET). Top student with 1st class honor and also received an academic excellence award
from Malaysian Joint Branch of RINA & IMarESt . I have passion in the area of marine and qualities
which I believe will suit the working culture of Maersk Line and also will put my interests and
learning into practice.

Maersk Line is a company of particular interest to me. From my research, I am aware of the
organisation’s emphasis on working creatively as a team to solve clients’ business problems. This
philosophy would allow me to apply the communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills I have
developed through my studies and find it encouraging that there’s potential to develop my
leadership.

As my interest lies in marine and qualities, I took a module called “Business Management” and
‘’Quality Management” at UniKL MIMET. I was also fortunate to have an internship at Antipinsky Oil
Refinery in Russia that give me opportunity to work in a multinational environment, to meet a lot of
nice people from all around the world, with different backgrounds and different cultures. Thus,
allowed me to discover new cultures and to know how to manage different things in different ways. I
hope to bring this enthusiasm to the Maersk Line community.
