 RACIAL DISCRIMINATION

There is a delicate case such as racial discrimination and either direct or indirect
comments from people that affect the group being led, measures are taken in the
group and the group stops before the conflicts become higher, to give solution,
placing our knowledge before him.
In the case of the elements of assertive communication, we use them after having,
the personal channels to obtain a more truthful solution after researching to have a
more accurate information of said conflict, we must be clear about the situation and
make known the possible solutions, I am destined to the group to explain it in a
general way, warning the consequences that can be generated by any personal
inconvenience or external character that harms the group, in this case either
political, religious or social racial.

SOLUTION TO THE RACIAL CONFLICT:

I explain that before God and the Law there are normal and rights that govern us in
our constitution, which can be positive or negative for our integrity at the moment of
being applied, I rely on the Colombian penal code (law 599 of 2000) to be more
accurate in CHAPTER IX. OF ACTS OF DISCRIMINATION.
Article 134A. Acts of racism or discrimination. Whoever arbitrarily prevents,
obstructs or restricts the full exercise of the rights of persons by reason of their
race, nationality, sex or sexual orientation, shall be imprisoned for twelve (12) to
thirty-six (36) months and a fine of ten. (10) to fifteen (15) minimum monthly legal
salaries in force.
Article 134B. Harassment based on race, religion, ideology, politics, or national,
ethnic or cultural origin. The one that promotes or instigates acts, conducts or
conduct constituting harassment, aimed at causing physical or moral harm to a
person, group of people, community or people, by reason of their race, ethnicity,
religion, nationality, political or philosophical ideology, sex or sexual orientation,
shall be imprisoned for twelve (12) to thirty-six (36) months and a fine of ten (10) to
fifteen (15) minimum monthly legal wages in force, unless the conduct constitutes a
punishable offense with a greater penalty.
It is when I apply the Assertive Communication Techniques according to the study
material, which are the following:
Scratched disc
It consists in saying "no" clearly, firmly and without excuses. It will be necessary to
repeat the arguments as many times as necessary, without anger, irritation, or
raise your voice, always ending the sentences with a goal.

It is a technique that can be used when someone launches a criticism with
something that you do not agree with, without direct confrontations. With this
technique what is done is to give the reason to what you consider is true, or can
be, but without going into more arguments or discussion. With this technique the
anguish that one feels when receiving a criticism is reduced.
Messages yo
I give an example that for my work and my way of being, I have knowledge about
respect and harmony and coexistence with all Partial agreement, assertive
agreement or negative assertion, I use this to avoid, to spread the comments and
discord is formed by someone said.
Assertive postponement
It is to let the act pass and then talk with these people, so as not to foment
problems in the group.
Ignore
I am the person who comes to solve and not create the problem, ignoring negative
comments and I go and clarify them, calling the conflict aside.
Technique to process the change
This technique is very good since the comments are distorted very easily and
complicate more conflicts in the group so you should not let it spread and act
immediately.
Assertive question
This technique is good at the time of these conflicts, because we ask the other
person to give us more information and to tell us what he wants us to change. In
the bad intentions criticisms are left without arguments and in the others they give
us more to improve. Give assertive arguments applying reverse psychology.
Assertive Rights
This is a technique that must have the ability to express or convey what you want,
what you think or feel without bothering, assault or hurt the feelings of the other
person. Assertive rights must be argued to defend ourselves in such conflicts.
