Module Objectives:
This course aims at providing skills required to identify and implement energy conservation and
overview of the effects of power generation and energy utilization on ecology and climate.

Module Description/Contents:
Energy auditing: Thermal Energy Distribution and Utilization, Electrical Energy Utilization;.
Use and Efficiency of Electrical Equipment; Electric Heating Equipment: Resistance, Induction,
and Dielectric; Welder; Elevator, Escalator and Conveyer, Blower, Pump, Compressor Energy
Conservation: Steam and Hot Water Pipes, Condensates, HVAC Systems, Electric Lighting,
Electric Motors;
Energy Conservation: Steam and Hot Water Pipes, Condensates, HVAC Systems, Electric
Lighting, Electric Motors; Energy Conservation Project Planning;
Emission from Combustion of Fuels and Green House Gases; Pollutant and Emission
Measurement and Reduction Strategies.
