1. Registration / Anmeldung

The student register at ISL Language Center by completing the registration form. All parts of the form have to be completed legibly and in capital letters. If the student is
under 18 a legally responsible person will have to sign the registration form for the student.

With the signature the legally responsible person also agrees to pay for the fees that arise from the registration. The registration will be handed to the agency representing
ISL and will be sent to ISL through this agency.

Der Schüler meldet sich bei der ISL Sprachschule an, indem er das Anmeldeformular ausfüllt. Alle Teile des Anmeldeformulars müssen vollständig und gut lesbar mit
Großbuchstaben ausgefüllt werden. Ist der Schüler unter 18 Jahren alt, muss ein gesetzlicher Vertreter die Anmeldung für den Schüler unterschreiben.

Mit seiner Unterschrift akzeptiert der gesetzliche Vertreter auch, dass er die Gebühren zahlen wird, die sich durch die Anmeldung ergeben. Die Anmeldung wird bei der
Agentur abgegeben, die ISL repräsentiert und wird durch diese Agentur an ISL geschickt.

2. Procedure and Payment / Ablauf und Zahlung

o With handing in the registration form to the agency, the student has to pay 80 EUR non-refundable registration fee.
o After receiving the registration fee on ISL bank account in Germany, ISL will issue a confirmation letter for the language course and accommodation, an
insurance confirmation (if needed) and an invoice showing the total price.
o Before receiving all necessary documents for the visa application, the student has to pay the full fees to ISL.
o With these documents the student or ISL (depending on the embassy rules) will apply for an interview appointment with the German embassy.
o When receiving the full tuition fees, ISL will issue a receipt of the payment. Only with this receipt it will be possible to enter Germany as the migration office
will ask for it to proof that this person is an ISL student.
o For all students who receive a visa, fees are not refunded, nor for students who arrive late, don’t arrive at all, interrupt their classes / stay or depart early. Also
not if students don’t attend classes. If you are unable to start your course as planned due to some reason you are not responsible for (e.g. illness, death, strike
etc.), your tuition fees can be used for a later course start after showing us a medical certificate or some other appropriate document. A transfer of this rights
of contract to another person is not possible.
o Students have to bear the bank charges.

o Mit Abgabe des Anmeldeformulars bei der Agentur muss der Schüler 80 EUR Anmeldegebühr bezahlen, die nicht zurückerstattet werden kann.
o Nachdem ISL die Anmeldegebühr auf dem Konto in Deutschland erhalten hat, wird dem Studenten eine Bestätigung über den Sprachkurs und die Unterkunft,
eine Versicherungsbestätigung (falls notwendig) und eine Rechnung mit dem Gesamtbetrag ausgestellt.
o Vor Erhalt aller Unterlagen, die für die Visumsbeantragung benötigt werden, muss der Schüler die vollen Kursgebühren an ISL zahlen.
o Mit diesen Unterlagen bewirbt sich der Schüler oder ISL (abhängig von den Vorgaben der Botschaft) um einen Visumstermin bei der Deutschen Botschaft.
o Nachdem ISL die gesamten Kursgebühren erhalten hat, wird eine Quittung ausgestellt. Nur mit dieser Zahlungsbestätigung kann der Schüler nach Deutschland
einreisen, da die Behörden die Quittung einsehen, als Beweis dafür, dass es sich um einen Schüler von ISL handelt.
o Für alle Schüler, die ein Visum erhalten, sind die Gebühren nicht erstattungsfähig. Die Gebühren werden auch nicht für Schüler, die verspätet ankommen, gar
nicht ankommen, ihren Unterricht / Aufenthalt unterbrechen oder vorzeitig abbrechen. Auch nicht im Fall, dass Schüler den Unterricht nicht wahrnehmen.
Wenn der Schüler die Unterbrechung oder den Abbruch nicht zu vertreten hat (z. B. bei Krankheit, Todesfall, Streik etc.), können die Gebühren für einen
späteren Kursstart eingesetzt werden, nachdem ISL ein medizinisches Gutachten oder ein anderes geeignetes Dokument vorgelegt wurde. Eine Übertragung
auf eine andere Person ist nicht möglich.
o Die Bankgebühren gehen zu Lasten des Schülers

3. Course start / Kursstart

ISL will confirm the final date of the course start and the date for the airport pick-up after the student received the visa. Beginner courses start every six weeks and the
student will start in the next available class. The student will have to start in this class, starting the class on another day or in another batch will not be possible.
No classes will be held on German bank holidays. The course fees are not reduced for bank holidays.
Students must inform us of their travel plans two weeks before arrival. In case we don´t receive this information on time, we may have to accommodate the student into a
hotel, on his/her expenses until the next course starting date.

Arrival day is always the Thursday before the next course starting date. Students who arrive on a different date have to pay extra costs.
• 50€ fee for arrival to Koblenz on your own at another day during office hours (Monday-Friday 8am-4pm)
• 150€ fee for arrival to Koblenz on your own outside office hours (Monday-Friday after 4am and on the weekends)
• 240€ fee for a private pick up
• 240€ fee for a no show on the official arrival day and or any other day
• 340€ fee for pick up after 8pm

The course hours will be diminished from 30 hours per week to 20 hours per weeks, should the course have to start with less than 7 students. The course hours will be

ISL wird dem Schüler den endgültigen Starttermin für den Deutschkurs und den Termin für die Abholung am Flughafen bestätigen, sobald der Schüler das Visum erhalten
hat. Anfängerkurse beginnen alle sechs Wochen und der Schüler wird in der nächst möglichen Klasse beginnen. Der Schüler muss in dieser Klasse starten, es ist nicht
möglich den Unterricht an einem anderen Tag oder zu einem anderen Termin zu beginnen.
An deutschen Feiertagen findet kein Unterricht statt. Der Kurspreis wird an Feiertagen nicht reduziert.

Hotel einzuquartieren, auf seine/ihre Kosten bis zum Beginn des nächsten Kurses.
Anreisetag ist immer der Donnerstag vor dem nächsten Kursbeginn. Schüler die einem anderen Tag anreisen müssen extra Gebühren bezahlen.

Die Kursdauer wird von 30 Stunden auf 20 Stunden pro Woche verringert, sollte der Kurs mit weniger als 7 Schülern starten müssen. Die Kursdauer wird von 30 Stunden

4. Images for advertising purposes / Bilder zu Werbezwecken

The school is entitled to create images and sound recordings for advertising purposes. We assume that the student gives his/her consent to images and recordings in which
he/she can be seen or heard being published for advertising purposes. If the student does not wish to give his/her consent, he/she will have to inform the school
accordingly.

Die Schule ist berechtigt Bilder und Tonaufnahmen zu Werbezwecken anzufertigen. Wir gehen davon aus, dass der Schüler damit einverstanden ist, dass die Bilder und
Tonaufnahmen, auf denen er/sie zu sehen oder zu hören ist zu Werbezwecken veröffentlicht werden. Sollte der Schüler damit nicht einverstanden sein, muss er die Schule
entsprechend informieren.

5. Accommodation and deposit / Unterbringung und Kaution

For accommodation in the ISL hostel, the student has to pay a deposit of 500,00 EUR. The deposit will be charged with the first invoice. On the last day of the student’s stay
we will inspect the room for damages. In case that no damages are found, ISL will transfer the full deposit (minus a final room cleaning fee of 50,00 EUR) back on the
student’s account in Germany. Should damages occur, ISL will keep the deposit in order to repair the damages and deduct the costs from the deposit. Should any money be
left, ISL will transfer this money (minus a final room cleaning fee of 50,00 EUR) on the student’s account in Germany. If the student breaches the rules of his student
contract or rent contract (i.e. misusing his visa, getting registered in a different city or not cancelling the rent contract on time) the deposit money will not be refunded.

The booking of the ISL accommodation for the first two months is obligatory. In case ISL has free rooms in the hostel after this period, the stay in the hostel can be
extended. The type of room is subject of availability.

Bei Unterbringung im ISL Hostel, wird eine Kaution in Höhe von 500,00 EUR fällig. Die Kaution wird auf der ersten Rechnung aufgeführt. Am letzten Tag des Aufenthalts
werden wir das Zimmer auf Schäden überprüfen. Sollten keine Schäden festgestellt werden, wird ISL die volle Kaution (abzüglich einer Endreinigungsgebühr von 50,00
EUR) auf das Konto des Schülers in Deutschland zurücküberweisen. Sollten doch Schäden auftreten, wird ISL die Kaution einbehalten um die Reparaturen durchzuführen.
Die Reparaturkosten werden von der Kaution abgezogen. Sollte dabei Geld übrigbleiben, wird ISL den Betrag (abzüglich einer Endreinigungsgebühr von 50,00 EUR) auf das
Konto des Schülers in Deutschland zurücküberweisen. Sollte der Schüler die Bedingungen seines Schülervertrages oder Mietvertrages brechen (z. B. bei Missbrauch des
Visums, Registrierung in einer anderen Stadt oder nicht rechtzeitige Kündigung des Mietvertrages), wird die Kaution nicht zurückerstattet.

Die Buchung einer ISL Unterkunft für die ersten zwei Monate ist obligatorisch. Sollte ISL nach diesem Zeitraum Kapazitäten frei haben, kann der Aufenthalt im Hostel
verlängert werden:
Die Art des Zimmers hängt von der Verfügbarkeit ab.

6. Further conditions / Sonstiges

One teaching hour /lesson = 45 minutes. Tickets for public transport and private expenses during the stay have to be paid by the student. The school is not responsible for
personal injuries or loss of personal items.

The student booked a class for 30weeks or 36 weeks. There is no obligation from the side of ISL to reach a specific level at the end of class. The learning speed always
depends on the individual student. If the student attends the classes regularly, participates actively and does his/her homework, we allow a further continuation of the
course without extra charge. One day or 6 hours per month unexcused non-attendance will be tolerated.

The course is divided in 6 levels from A0 to C1. One level is taught in 6weeks in Germany. At the end of every level there will be a level test. To pass the level test, the
student needs to achieve a minimum 60% of the overall points. In case a student fails in a level test, a student who participates regularly is entitled to repeat the respective
level to one-time without extra charge. Should a student miss more that the tolerated time of 1 day or six hours per month and fail the level test, the student needs to
repeat the level at his own costs.

I authorize ISL Sprachschule to send an evaluation of my study progress to my parents and/or my agent every six months.

If a student already has certain knowledge of the German language, he/she has to proof of a recognized certificate from a Goethe Institute. We will test the language level
of a student upon arrival to confirm whether the student has the certified level. If a student books the language course for a duration than the 30or 36 weeks because of
the previous German knowledge, we reserve the right to add some extra charges, if the level is not as good as mentioned. For each level achieved before registration we
will deduct 1000€ per level.

Eine Unterrichtsstunde = 45 Minuten. Tickets für den öffentlichen Verkehr und private Ausgaben während des Aufenthalts müssen vom Schüler getragen werden. Die
Schule übernimmt keine Verantwortung für Verletzungen und den Verlust von privaten Gegenständen.

Der Schüller hat einen Unterricht für 30 oder 36 Wochen gebucht. Es besteht seitens ISL keine Verpflichtung am Ende dieses Kurses ein bestimmtes Level zu erreichen. Die
Lerngeschwindigkeit hängt immer vom einzelnen Schüler ab. Bei regelmäßiger Teilnahme und aktiver Mitarbeit und regelmäßiger Hausaufgabenerledigung erlauben wir
dem Teilnehmer eine weiter kostenloste Teilnahme am Kurs. Unentschuldigte Abwesenheit von bis zu einem Tag oder sechs Stunden, pro Monat, wird toleriert.

Der Kurs ist von A0 bisC1 in 6 Niveaustufen unterteilt. Eine Niveaustufe wird in Deutschland in 6 Wochen unterrichtet. Am Ende jedes Niveau findet ein Niveautest statt.
Um den Niveau-Test zu bestehen, müssen mindestens 60% der Punkte erreich sein. Ein Schuller ist bei regelmäßiger Teilnahme berechtigt im Falle des Nicht-Bestehens des

 Niveautests das entsprechende Niveau einmalig kostenfrei u wiederholen. Fehlt der Schüler mehr als die tolerierte Zeit von einem Tag oder sechs Stunden pro Monat,
muss er bei Nicht-Bestehen des Niveautests das Niveau auf eigene Kosten Wiederholen.

7. Cancellation policy / Stornogebühren

Students have to pay the total fees and have to have a skype meeting with the ISL office, before the ISL language school will send the original documents by post.
Should students cancel the application, after they received the original documents and before their appointment at the embassy, ISL will keep a cancelation fee of EUR
1000.00 (+ the EUR 80.00 registration fee).
ISL will refund the remaining fees, after deducting the cancellation fees and the registration fee, if students return the original documents to the ISL language school
ISL won´t refund the paid fees, if students cancel their application after the appointment at the embassy, as they could misuse the visa.
The ISL language school will refund the total fees, apart from the registration fee, should students receive a refusal from the embassy. The refund will only be made after
students send the refusal letter to the ISL language school.

Schüler müssen vor Erhalt der Original Dokumente die kompletten Gebühren an die ISL Sprachschule zahlen und ein Einweisungsgespräch mit einem Mitarbeiter via Skype
geführt haben.
Sollten sie die Anmeldung zurückziehen, nachdem sie die Original Dokumente per Kurier erhalten haben und bevor sie den Termin bei der Botschaft haben, wird eine
Stornogebühr von EUR 1000.00 einbehalten (+ die EUR 80.00 Anmeldegebühr).
Die Gebühren, die nach Abzug der Stornogebühr und der Anmeldegebühr übrigbleiben, bekommen sie erst erstattet, nachdem sie die Original Dokumente nicht erhalten,
wird die komplette Gebühr einbehalten.
Schüler die nach dem Termin bei der Botschaft stornieren, bekommen die Gebühren nicht erstattet, da von einem Visummissbrauch ausgegangen werden kann.
Schüler Die eine Ablehnung der Botschaft erhalten haben, bekommen alle Gebühren, bis auf die Anmeldegebühr, erstattet, nach Vorlage des Ablehnungsbescheids.

The ISL Sprachschule OHG collects and processes your personal information for the sole purpose of contract fulfilment, as well as the fulfilment of your pre- and post-
contractual obligations. The personal information, specifically: name, address, phone number, bank information and, if applicable, passport number - as stated in the
contract (course and exam registration), which are solely required for the purpose of fulfilling contractual obligations, will be collected on lawful authorisation as stated in
article 6, section 1 of the European General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO). All personal information will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose
of processing and after the German statutory retention period of ten years.

Forwarding client information to third-party participants:

The ISL Language Centre will not share your personal information with third-party participants without your express and revocable permission.
Expressly excluded is the exchange of personal information with legal authorities and service partners directly involved in the completion of your course and exam
participation. Should a data transfer occur during the order processing, the shared information will be limited to the required minimum.
We reserve the right to forward personal information to our representative debt collection company in case of default of payment. Your worthy interests will be duly
considered in accordance with the DSGVO legal provisions.

Rights of the affected: inquiry, rectification, deletion, blocking and right to refuse:
According to § 15 DSGVO you are entitled to receive extensive information about your personal stored data from the ISL Sprachschule OHG.
In accordance with § 17 DSGVO you are entitled to require that individually stored personal data be rectified, deleted or blocked by the ISL Language Centre.
You further have the right of appeal at the regulatory authority for data protection.
Furthermore, you can at any time and without giving cause, make use of your refusal right and amend for future use or fully revoke the statement of consent. The
countermand can be conveyed to the ISL Language Centre either by post, email or fax. You will not be charged for costs other than shipping and handling, i.e. transmission
cost according to existing basic rates.

ausgenommen ist die Weitergabe von personenbezogenen Daten an Behörden und Dienstleistungspartner, die zur unmittelbaren Abwicklung Ihrer Kurs- bzw.
Prüfungsteilnahme unabdingbar sind. In den Fällen einer Datenweitergabe im Rahmen der Auftragsabwicklung beschränkt sich der Umfang der übermittelten Daten auf
das erforderliche Minimum.
Befinden Sie sich in Zahlungsverzug behalten wir uns vor, personenbezogene Daten an das von uns beauftrage Inkasso-Unternehmen zu übermitteln. Ihre schutz-würdigen
Belange werden gemäß den gesetzlichen Bestimmungen berücksichtigt.

Rechte des Betroffenen: Auskunft, Berichtigung, Löschung und Sperrung, Widerspruchsrecht

Sie sind gemäß § 15 DSGVO jederzeit berechtigt, von der ISL Sprachschule OHG umfangreiche Auskunft zu den zu Ihrer Person gespeicherten Daten zu erhalten.
Gemäß § 17 DSGVO können Sie jederzeit gegenüber der ISL Sprachschule die Berichtigung, Löschung und Sperrung einzelner personenbezogener Daten verlangen.
Ihnen steht des Weiteren ein Beschwerderecht bei der Aufsichtsbehörde zu.
Sie können darüber hinaus jederzeit ohne Angabe von Gründen von Ihrem Widerspruchsrecht Gebrauch machen und die erteilte Einwilligungserklärung mit Wirkung für
die Zukunft abändern oder gänzlich widerrufen. Sie können den Widerruf entweder postalisch, per E-Mail oder per Fax an die ISL Sprachschule übermitteln. Es entstehen
Ihnen dabei keine anderen Kosten als die Portokosten bzw. die Übermittlungskosten nach den bestehenden Basistarifen.
