Huna Divination

For "Yes" or "No" questions:

White or Clear stone - the foundation stone
Green stone - "yes"
Red stone - "no"

Begin with piko-piko (pee-koh-pee-koh), a breathing technique. [As you breathe in, focus your attention
on the top of your head. As you exhale, focus your attention on your navel.] Next focus on your question
as you shake the white, red, and green stones in you hands. Toss the stones, and look to see which stone
is closer to the white stone (if green then yes, if red then no, if an equal distance then maybe).
If you do not get the answer you want, do not toss the stones again. Rearrange the stones how you want
them to be and say aloud, "This is the new pattern. This is how I want it to be."

For open-ended questions (rather than yes/no), use seven stones:

White stone - Ike - AWARENESS - our ideas create our reality

Red stone - Kala - FREEDOM - there are no limits
Orange stone - Makia - FOCUS - energy flows where attention goes
Yellow stone - Manawa - PERSISTANCE - now is the moment of power
Green stone - Aloha - LOVE - to love is to be happy with
Blue stone - Mana - CONFIDENCE - all power comes from within
Purple stone - Pono - FLEXIBILITY - effectiveness is the measure of truth

Begin with piko-piko, then focus on your question as you shake the stones. Toss the stones and look to
see which one is the closest to the white stone for your answer.

For picture casting use all seven stones. This particular type of divination will require the use of your
intuition. Begin with piko-piko, then focus on your question as you shake the stones in your hand. Say
aloud, "Give me an image of .... (your question). Toss the stones. Look to see what pattern they make
(like a connect the dots picture). The symbol or picture is the answer to your question.
