Thank you for registering to be a part of the Get Charged Up EV Poker Run, which should be an
exciting event aimed at raising awareness and education of electric vehicles (EVs) in Oklahoma.

Event Date: Friday, Sept. 14, 2018

Event Time: Hot dog lunch and participant check in begins at 11 a.m. at WFEC’s Moore Office.
The Poker Run will start at approximately 12:30 p.m., with participants heading to the second
stop location.

Second Stop: OnCue, 1000 N. Czech Hall Rd.,
Yukon, Okla.
Third Stop: Bob Howard Chevrolet,
13130 Broadway Extension, Oklahoma City, Okla.
Fourth Stop: Spiers New Technologies,
50 NE 42nd St., Oklahoma City, Okla.
Final Stop: Riverwind Casino, 1544 Highway 9,
Norman, Okla.

Proposed Schedule:
11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. – Hot dog lunch / first card draw
12:30 - 1:10 p.m. – Travel time to second stop
1:10 - 1:30 p.m. – OnCue
1:30 - 2 p.m. – Travel time to third stop
2 - 2:15 p.m. – Bob Howard Chevrolet
2:15 - 2:30 p.m. – Travel time to fourth stop
2:30 - 3 p.m. – Spiers New Technologies
3 - 3:30 p.m. – Travel time to final stop
3:30 - 4 p.m. – Riverwind Casino
General Event Information:
♠ Each registered vehicle will have a Poker Run score card. There can be more than one
person riding in each vehicle, however, only one score card is permitted per vehicle.
♠ Each stop will have two seven-foot flags displaying ChooseEV signage, and a
corresponding table. At each location, participants will enter the designated area and
either the driver and/or team can head to the specified table to draw a card for the
poker hand contest. The Poker Run score card will then be stamped with the drawn
card. At the final stop (Riverwind Casino), once all cards have been drawn, the best five
card stud poker hand will win a $250 cash gift card.
♠ It is the intent of WFEC to have local media at each of the designated stops to interview
participants and interested parties.
♠ Total driving mileage is estimated to be about 80 miles, excluding any toll roads.
♠ Charging ports will be available at the second, third and fourth stops of the Poker Run.
Please keep in mind that each stop will only be about 15-20 minutes.
