application for the IHP trimester “Quantum Optics’’.

I know Mr. ABC for last two years as a student of our bachelor in mathematics. During
these years, I gave him two courses on Quantum Theory and non-linear Optics. He
performed well in both courses. Currently I am also supervising his BS final year thesis.
Mr. ABC is intelligent, obedient and hard working student. He has shown keen interest
to pursue higher studies in Applied Quantum mechanics and specifically in the field of
Quantum field Theory. I believe that his participation in the short term trimester program
will be a good starting point for his research endeavors as well as familiarizing him with
different cultures and languages by interacting people from all over the world.
