Control principle

General control principle:

1. Select parameter with button “F“ (toggle)
2. Adjust parameter with “+/-“ buttons
3. Confirm changes with button “F“
4. Esc/Reset jumps back at any time to initial
status without parameter change

Adjust sensitivity:

2. Change parameter with ”+/-“ buttons
3. Confirm changes with button “F“

Product change:
1. 2x button “F“

New function „Auto-Set“

 Certain conditions at the place of installation are quite common in the plastics industry and
can influence a metal detector and can lead to false detections:
• Conductive material (e.g. wet material)
• Vibrations
• Electro-smog

 “Auto-Set“ can compensate such environmental influences and delivers optimum scanning
sensitivity and prevents false detections
 Function can be activated individually and automatically on-site by the customer
 The function is being offered in this form by S+S exclusively

adjusted at the moment (sensitivity, product change or Auto-Set)
