PTA MEETING AND SOT VOTING THIS TUESDAY, 6 PM IN

COX LIBRARY

WEDNESDAY NIGHT IS CHICK-FIL-A NIGHT FOR COX!!! 4:00-8:00PM

Infinite Campus: Parents, teachers are putting grades into Infinite Campus now. Please make sure you’ve put the app
on your mobile device and your computer access works. Ms. Penney in the front office can assist you if you’re having
issues with the account. *Remember with the apps, you need to “refresh” the data for it to currently upload.
Teachers is grades 1-5 put 2 grades per week in Reading/Language/Math and Science/Health/Social Studies and
Specialists enter grades as the units of study are completed. You can get more detailed information from the Parent
Portal in Infinite Campus on the CCSD website.

PTA News: Please join our PTA! It’s an important organization and helps be the voice for your child at the state level.
It is our goal that every family will join our PTA (Parent Teacher Association). This organization is a vital asset to
our school, as they provide community events, service projects for our students, and funds to support our
educational goals. Membership is only $5.00 and your voice as an advocate for your child’s education is a
powerful one at the state legislature.

Wonderful Grandparents and Doughnuts Day: Thank you to all of our Grandparents who were able to join us Friday
morning for some Krispy Kreme and Coffee! It was so much fun to see everyone!

After-School Clubs
Families we have six after school clubs happening on campus each week. The office
does not keep a master listing of all student club members. Please send your teacher a
Dojo letting them know which club(s) your child participates in to ensure they get to
the correct club after school.

Correction to School Data and State Exam Data: Our Star Rating by the state is supposed to come out on the 14th, our
school has done some preliminary data analysis and we expect our ranking to either remain at 4 Star or drop slightly into the 3
Star category. Attendance, Student Growth Scores, Student Achievement Scores, and Parent Survey Participation all factor
into the rankings by the state. The corrected district and performance zone rankings are listed. They are slightly different than
last week’s postings; I had not checked one of the validity boxes needed when I printed the scores. My apologies.
