1. Executive summary

The title of retail project proposal is to study about the effectiveness of sports activity to
employee 7-Eleven.Our Sports Activity aim to facilitate an opportunity for the meaningful time
they can spend together. This sport activity promote healthy lifestyle. The feedback that we have
received from questionnaire participants was excellent. The value of self-reliance and
cooperation among managers and staff as well as recreational sports.

Sports are all forms of usually competitive physical activity or games which, through
casual or organized participation, aim to use, maintain or improve physical ability and skills
while providing enjoyment to participants, and in some cases, entertainment for
employee.Usually the contest or game is between managers and staff two sides, each attempting
to exceed the other. A number of such two-sided contests may be arranged in a tournament
producing a champion.Aarranging games in a regular sports season.

Sport activity means all forms of physical activity which, through casual or organized
participation, aim at expressing or improving physical fitness and mental well-being, forming
social relationships. There are many people who do sports for nothing around us. Everyday we
can encounter with these people. They regularly do sports; however, none of them realizes the
benefits and importance of sports.

Moreover, with sports activities employee also can be healthy, enjoy and release steres. In
this event also they can get to know about each others.Apart from that, they also can work
together without feeling shy and can strengthen the relationship.

Ssometimes overwhelming life conditions may be unfair and make us unhappy.

However, if there is a sport activity when we are unhappy, we will probably be motivated and be
refreshed again after the sport activity. This is one should be the most important benefit of sports
activities because many people do sports for this reason. Our team hope is with doing sport event
can strengthen the relationship between the employee of 7-Eleven.

Sport are required to be healthy people, are needed for enjoyment, and are great market
countries’ economies. Sport for people is that they help people be healthy. Throughout history,
people can’t give up they interest at their body. Naturally, people’s first aim should be healthy
and fit with the benefits of sport. Sports keep our body healthy. However, if there is a sport
activity when we are unhappy, we will probably be motivated and be refreshed again after the
sport activity.
Sports keep us healthy and fit Sports and games keep us fit and fine mentally as well as
physically. When we participate in any sport we can see the improvements in our health. This
improvement is the result of sporting because when we play any outdoor game we are exercised
physically and our body becomes fit than before. Thus, sports are helpful in maintaining our
health. People who are good at sports are also seen getting less tired as compared to people who
have lowest physical activities as a part of their everyday life.
2. Introduction

2.1Background Of The 7-Eleven

7-Eleven was founded by J. C. Thompson in 1927 as The Southland Ice Company in Dallas,
Texas. Started as an ice vendor, the company eventually began offering milk, bread and eggs on
Sundays and evenings when grocery stores were closed. This new business idea produced
satisfied customers and increased sales, spawning the precursor of the modern convenience retail
concept.
The company's first convenience outlets were known as Tote'm stores since customers
"toted" away their purchases, and some even sported genuine Alaskan totem poles in front. In
1946, Tote'm became 7-Eleven to reflect the stores' new, extended hours - 7 a.m. until 11 p.m.,
seven days a week. The company's corporate name was changed from The Southland
Corporation to 7-Eleven, Inc. in 1999. We are the pioneer and the largest 24-hours convenience
store operator in Malaysia. Upon achieving its 1,000 mark in stores network, 7-Eleven Malaysia
opened its door to local entrepreneurs through its unique franchising program in 2009. We are
the first franchisor in the local market to offer existing profit-making stores to franchisees.
7-Eleven stores can be found across bustling commercial districts to serene suburban
residential compounds throughout Malaysia, from petrol stations and LRT stations to shopping
malls and medical institutions. 7-Eleven is Always There For You. Each 7-Eleven store carries
over 2,200 SKUs, including our proprietary brands such as Slurpee frozen beverages and Big
Gulp fountain soft drinks. The variety of services available at 7-Eleven include the bill payment
service, sale of mobile phone reload cards, IDD/STD, Touch N Go reload, internet games' starter
packs, reloads via MOL Point top-up, ink cartridge refill, photocopying, fax, automated teller
machine (ATM), and bulletin board for neighborhood community notices.

In 2009, 7-Eleven introduced fresh brewed coffee and other hot beverages together with
packaged fresh food and bakery for the convenience of customers looking for ready-to-eat hot
food. All food items sold in 7-Eleven are certified HALAL and undergo stringent quality control
to ensure the taste and freshness .Being the premier neighborhood convenience store, community
building is in the heart of 7-Eleven’s corporate social responsibility framework. 7-Eleven
Community Care is a non-profit entity set up to implement 7-Eleven Malaysia’s corporate social
responsibility and philanthropic initiatives. We believe in giving back to the society we operate
in, with a commitment to support the underprivileged groups and to sustain environmental
conservation effort at the local community level across all regions.

Risk is an integral element of sport. Sport without risk would cease to be sport. This
unique aspect of sport must be factored into any discussion of risk management within sport
facilities, programs and events.

In today’s non profit organization risk management means more than locking away
valuables. The focus of this is practical and sensible risk management for the sport organization
that runs its programs in its own facilities or in facilities owned by other or sponsor. The four
main sources of risk are :

 Facilities : the buildings, fields, office or where sport and related activity occurs.

 Equipment : includes equipment used by coaches and officials within the sport activity itself
an equipment used by organization in the provision of sport services and programs

 Program: there are physical risks that are an inherent part of the sport itself, some of which
are desirable and reasonable while others are not.

 People & staff: this is the human element and includes participants and staff of whom can
be unpredictable in their behaviour and can make mistakes in carrying out duties.
Other than sources risk, organization also types of risk for a sport. Types of risk organization are:

 Physical injury : risk that a participants will be seriously hurt

 Property loss or damage; risk that property owned or sport organization responsible
3. LITERATURE REVIEW

The preservation of heritage through renovation projects of sport and recreation facilities is a
recent phenomenom. We are not generally prompted to think of sport and recreation venues as
cultural objects to preserve or as hosts to heritage yet. They appear to be significant sources of
heritage for communities and fan nations (Mason et al 2005 and Rosentraub and Ijla, 2008 ).
Nothing facilities have the ability to preserve heritage, the aim of this paper is to review
contemporary philosopher peter singer’s (1993) perspective on moral obligation to highlight the
potential to protect heritage through sport and recreational facility management practices. We
argue that communities and constituents may have a moral obligation to preserve heritage
through sport and recreation facilities due to the value they possess. Appropriately, preservation
is defined and framed as a managerial activity to assure the survival social, political, and cultural
records.
