F1101 (Appenddix C, Fig. 2)

a possible.

WELDER ACCEPTA
A ABILITY
Thhe test weldd shall be reejected if itt has surfacce defects (not in accoordance withh the accep
ptance
criiteria given in this Speccification), cracks, inaddequate pennetration or burn througgh.
Moreover, un ndercutting adjacent to the final beead on the pipe outsid de shall not be > 1/32” deep
or 12.5% of wall thicknness, in adddition theree shall not be more th han 2” unddercutting inn any
continuous 12 2-inch lengtth of weld. In all thesee cases, Cusstomer shall decide whhether a rep
peated
tesst may be peerformed orr not.
In case of Au utomatic or Semi-Autoomatic weldding, the weelds shall bee subjected to 100% UT,

adddition to raddiographic tests
t to deteect any lackk of side walll fusion.
In particular cases,
c Custoomer may additionally
a require desstructive tessts consistinng of 2 bendd tests
forr a Welder or
o Welding Operator.

If a test weld fails to meeet the speciified requireements, the Welder or Welding Operator
