The successful Project Lead/Project Consultant/Project Manager will drive


delivery through the management of project teams comprising of
development, testing, and infrastructure and support teams and will involve
the concurrent management of several projects at the same time, sometimes
for the same customer but often across multiple customers.

The successful Project Lead/Project Consultant/Project Manager will be


expected to take ownership of and accountability for the entire project
delivery life cycle from inception through successful delivery and handover to
on-going support. The successful Project Lead/Senior Business Analyst/Project
Consultant will have the responsibility for project estimation, budgeting and
financial reporting.

This role requires almost daily interaction with the customer up to the most
senior levels of their organisations given the nature of the solutions being
delivered. Weekly or bi-weekly project board meetings with the customer
team must be organised and chaired by the successful Project Lead/Senior
Business Analyst/Project Consultant/Project Manager at which comprehensive
project reporting must be presented.

Key Responsibilities required for the position of Project Lead/Senior Business


Analyst/Project Consultant:
- Preparation of customer proposals
- Project level resource allocation (in conjunction with PMO)
- Project team management
- Project initiation, scoping and estimation
- Project task scheduling, including: identification of work packages,
- sequencing and identification of the project's critical path
- Identification and application of appropriate techniques to meet delivery
- objectives
- Working to budget using time sheet tracking tools to identify, manage and
- prevent over run
- Progress tracking and control
- Project status reporting
- Prepare for, chair and record meetings at project team meetings and
- customer project board meetings
- Quality Assurance of Requirements, Development, Testing and Deployment
- Coordination of solution handovers to the Support team
- Maintain excellent customer relations
- Ensure professional delivery from the project team
- Provide accurate and timely information at all times as requested

Required Experience

- Minimum of 3 years project management experience inInsurance or IT


sectors
- Good understanding of and preferably a background in technology (Sandra I
have an IT background; BSc Management & IT)
- MS Project
- MS Office
- Demonstrable experience of working with industry recognised Project
- Management Methodologies
- Presentation skills
- Facilitation skills
- Demonstrable successful project delivery

Desired Qualifications
PMI or Prince II trained or certificated
CII or London Market Introductory certificate preferred but not essential

A Project Manager, based in London, United Kingdom is required to work in


the Infrastructure Group responsible for the management of the bank's
infrastructure, support and development of existing business systems, and the
delivery and deployment of new systems, technologies and services. This role
is required to support the Fixed Income Currencies & Commodities Group of
the Bank, using the latest software technologies, to translate business strategy
into clear technical and analytical systems solutions. The team already possess
a reputation for excellence and need a high quality Project Manager to
continue this trend.

Amongst the range of projects which will require delivery are:


Rollout of New Products to existing Fixed Income Currencies & Commodities
business
Implementation and delivery of IT solutions for new business initiatives
Strategy implementation for the refresh of critical trading systems
Management of task-list work for existing businesses.
Setup of IT technology associated with new office setups

Main Responsibilities:
Managing projects, including progress management, risk and issues
management, resource tracking, financials tracking, stakeholder management
and associated status reporting
Defining new projects, including functional scope, process and system impact
analysis, resource planning, financials planning, governance models etc
Contributing to the continuous improvement of project management practices
in the team, including creation and use of tools to assist project management
