EE/CompE Additional Electives

Up to 12 credits may count for the EE technical elective requirement and 6 credits for the CompE
technical elective requirement.
Courses in bold are being offered for Fall 2018 as of 05/07/2018.

• For EE, many CSCI 4xxx and 5xxx courses require CSCI 1902, 1913, or 1933 as a prerequisite; if both
courses are completed, the 4 credits for 1902, 1913, or 1933 will also count as elective credits.
• CSE Global Seminars, EE 3940 class number, usually offered during the January or May term sessions,
can usually count for up to 3 credits maximum towards additional technical elective requirements.
• This list is not necessarily comprehensive. Other courses (generally from CSE) may count as additional
technical electives upon approval by the ECE Director of Undergraduate Studies. File an APAS
exception request on the Matrix: Matrix > LHS > Administrative Forms > APAS Exceptions, speak with
ECE Director of Undergraduate Studies or consult with the ECE Academic Advisor.
