LIPOMA

1) Made up of circumscribed mass of mature fat cells.

2) Adipocytes appears as clear cells with a peripherally
located nucleus.
3) Variable number of collagen fibres course through the
lesion.These strands divide the adipose tissue into pockets.
4) Vascularity is evident and occasional.
5) If fibrous connective tissue is significant, then the term
fibrolipoma is employed.
