ORDINANCE NO. __________

AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MAYOR, TO INITIATE THE EXPROPRIATION PROCEEDING

OVER THE 10,000 SQUARE METERS, MORE OR LESS, PARCEL OF LAND OWNED BY ______________
CURRENTLY OCCUPIED BY BARANGAY SAN REMEGIO AS BARANGAY GOVERNMENT CENTER.

Section 1. Title. This ordinance is known as “___________ Expropriation-Ordinance”

granting authority to the City Mayor to initiate the expropriation proceedings over the Ten
Thousand (10,000) square meters parcel of land owned by ___________ presently utilized by
Barangay San Remegio as Barangay Government Center.

Section 2. The Property. The subject property consists of TEN THOUSAND (10,000)
square meters, more or less, which is a portion of Transfer Certificate of Title
No___________________with a total land area of Twenty Thousand Three Hundred Ninety
Nine (26,399), more or less located at Brgy. _______________

Section 3. Existing use of the property. At present, the subject property is being
utilized as Barangay Government Center of San Remegio where the following facilities are
situated: Barangay Health Center, Botikang Barangay, Barangay Covered Court, Barangay Day
Care Center, Multi-Purpose Pavement (stage) and other improvements introduced by the
barangay.

Section 4. Purpose. This Ordinance is for the public purpose. Subject property is being
used as Barangay Government Center where the barangay hall and other facilities are located.

Section 5. Authority. Authority is hereby granted to the City Mayor to initiate the
expropriation proceedings over the land owned by ________________with an area of Ten
Thousand (10,000) square meters situated in Brgy. ____________________________

Section 6. Value. The amount of ONE MILLION (P10,000,000.00.00)(P1000.00 x 10,000

per square meter)as fair market value shall be allocated for the expropriation proceedings over
the property above-described.

Section 7. Copies of this Ordinance shall be furnished to the SanguniangPanlalawigan

and other concerned offices for information, guidance and appropriate action.

Section 8. Separability Clause. – If for any reason, any portion or provision of this
Ordinance is declared unconstitutional or invalid, the other sections or provisions hereof which
are not affected thereby, shall continue in full force and effect.

Section 9.Effectivity – This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
