COURSE SYNOPSIS
This course is the continuous of concepts of electronic
circuit in the Electronic I. This course intends to give the
students knowledge on Bipolar Junction Transistor (BJT)
and Field Effect Transistor (FET), Power Amplifier,
Operation Amplifier, Op-Amp Application, Active Filter and
Voltage Regulator.

1. Review on BJT and FET Bias Circuits
Transistor operation (BJT and FET); biasing circuits of
BJT, base bias, emitter bias, voltage divider bias,
collector feedback bias.
SYLLABUS
3. Operational Amplifiers
Op-amp parameters, differential and common-mode
operation, op-amp basics, practical op-amp circuits,
op-amp data sheet.
4. Op-Amp Applications
Constant-gain multiplier, voltage summing, voltage
buffer, comparator, differentiator, integrator, controlled
sources.

Basic Filter Responses, Filters Response
Characteristics, Active Low-Pass Filters, Active High-
Pass Filters, Active Band-Pass Filters, Active Stop-Pass
Filters, Filter Response Measurements.
6. Voltage regulators
Zener diode regulator, linear regulator, op-amp linear
regulator, linear IC regulator, non-linear (switching)
regulators.
