Arabic Holiday Work

YEAR 8 PHASES 2 AND 3:

1- In preparation for the new unit ‘Exploring & Sightseeing’, you are required to:
- Search for 4 Arabic VERBS related to exploring and sightseeing, such as "‫"أكتشف‬.
- Search for 4 images of popular places people visit and explore.
- Search for 4 images of different cultural traditions people might come across when
sightseeing.
- Search for 4 images of different tourist signs people come across during sightseeing, find
the Arabic keyword for each.
- TURN IN your final work on Managebac before week 1 of Term 2.

NOTE: Ensure the images fit totally in the squares provided on the next page below (the
table is just a guide for you to ensure the images are not smaller than the squares below).
You may have to rotate images if they are originally wide. Use the same size table to insert
one Arabic keyword (the Arabic words you find above) fitting one square at a time, it is not
necessary to use font colour, however ensure you increase the font size and bold them to fit
each square. COLOUR print the images. Plus print out the Arabic keywords and bring them
to school first Arabic lesson of Term 2.

In total, you must have 12 coloured images and 8 Arabic keywords.
