Note: Check and record the flow rate and pressure

• Set the breaker for the Top Drive Cooling Pump (MB-5) to ON

Note: Check and record the flow rate and pressure

• Check the Relay MR-8 to verify that it illuminates. This will
indicate that flow is present

• Set the breaker for the Heat Pump (MB-14) to ON position

• Set switch for the Heat Pump (SW-12) to ON position

• Set the breaker for the Auxiliary Pump (MB-13) to ON position

• Set switch on the Driller’s panel for the Auxiliary Pump (SW-11)
to ON position

Note: Check and record circulating pressure (it should be 400-600 psi
at normal operating temperature

Before proceeding with the next step verify and confirm the
following system are operating correctly:

• Cooling pump for the Top Drive

• Cooling pump for the Drive
• Chiller
• Heat pump
• UPS, Uninterruptible Power Supply

• Set the OFF/CONTROL/PRECH switch on the ECI Main Panel to
CONTROL position
