Uma palestra sobre o uso espiritual do dinheiro

Motto:
How can you think you are so spiritual, if you have so much money?
Well my friend, what makes you think that money is only for non-evolved beings?

Tantra teaches us about all areas of life, and how to strive into perfection in
each of them. At the level of the first chakra, the root chakra, we learn the
integration into the material world. This integration is done mainly with a very
specific type of energy that is the great door opener for material achievement.
This specific energy is called in our common language money.

Today I will not go through the ins and outs of money, as this lecture is meant to
present a specific aspect of this energy that is much needed today.

If we observe any aspect of our world, we can always see too complementary,
opposing tendencies. We know this as the yin yang of any aspect we consider.
So at the level of money, many times we can see that spiritually evolving beings,
tend to neglect their material prosperity, and are usually not so good dealing with
money. On the other polarity we have people who are extremely good at handling the
energy of money, and can easily attract prosperity and wealth, who are many times
not so good in spiritual matters.

There is even a certain subconscious idea that if we have a lot of money, then we
are not so spiritual, as if material success should be indicator of spiritual
poverty. In fact, the universe doesn’t share our prejudices with this energy and a
true tantric aspirant should have no problems with his economy. In fact, having so
much esoteric knowledge about the laws that rule this universe, he should be much
better than any initiated person.

This lecture is meant to open our hearts and our minds to the infinite
possibilities of having a culture of spiritualised beings who are also having
absolutely all the resources they need for all the beneficial projects they do to
help humanity in its awakening.

We could poetically see money as Prana. The undiferentiated Prana or energy of the
universe, has no form until it is put into a process or a system, where it will
empower it. Happens the same with the energy of money, it empowers any system it
comes into contact with. And like Prana, money can be anything. Money per se has no
value, a spiritual seeker should always see money as a resource to achieve
something, and not as and end. Just like Prana can become matter, so money can
become a car, a computer, a plain ticket or any other practical thing needed for
our normal development.

A spiritual aspirant with a lot of money is a spiritual aspirant with a lot of

resources. Resources are energy. And especially on the tantric path, energy is the
central key factor for spiritual efficiency. Here energy is called shakti, and it
is the occult shakti power that gives efficiency to any process or practice the
tantric is doing. In the same way this will have as a reflection in the esoteric
anatomy, a very well developed muladhara chakra, that can provide all the energy to
the system. As a material reflection of this, the aspirante will have a very
wealthy and successful material life, being also generous and inspiring for all the
ones around him.

For this purpose we will present briefly the basic understandings that can allow
any intelligent aspirant to become extremely good at handling the energy of money,
thus having all the resources he needs for his spiritual realisation.
There are three golden rules for economic abundance, which we will present now with
three parables:

1) A boy when reaching his adult age, was trying to make a living by selling
fruits. And every-time he would get some extra money he would immediately follow
his passion of travelling and visiting other places. At the beginning he had a lot
of success and managed to travel a lot, but as time went by, he would take more and
more time to have enough money to travel, and when he did, he immediately spent it
entirely for that travel.
At a point it would be more than 3 years with no travels, and this man was getting
frustrated and sad.
One night at a family dinner, his father, now an old wise man, noticed he was sad,
and asked him about his life and how he was doing. The man told him about his fruit
business and how wonderful it was for him to travel, and that now he was never able
to do it.
His father, calmly and with a warm smile told him: worry not my son, I will teach
you the secret that will make you have always a lot of money.
All you have to do is keep this in mind: Money is like water, it always flows where
there is more of it.
The son took this advice quite seriously and after making some serious changes in
his way of handling money, he could now travel every 3 months, and always have
abundance of money.

2) As a young teenager my father had to work to help my grandparents, as he was

from a very modest family. At that time, he had 3 dreams: to have a mercedes car,
to have a house of his own, and to write a book. As of today, my father is now 62
years old, he has had many mercedes cars, and 3 different houses that he owned.
This might not seem like a great achievement, but for a small boy growing up in
seemingly poor conditions, it would be like for most of us to dream to have rolls
royce, and to own a palace. It was very far away from his reality. The second
golden rule comes from my mother. She was the one telling me how my father dealt
with money in the beginning of his economic life. He would be very young and
working at a grocery shop, and at the end of the month he would receive a small
payment.. and many times what he would do would be to go to the cafe with all his
friends and pay a round of drinks for everybody. He didn’t have much, it was only
enough to pay one round of drinks to his friends. But for him, that was a huge
abundance, he was able to pay a whole round of drinks to all his friends, so he
would just, from time to time show up and say “so my friends who wants to come to
the cafe? the drinks are on me!”. And he always acted as if he would be very
abundant with money.

Like any other energy, the occult law of offering applies with money, the more you
give, the more you get.

3) When my father grew up he became a salesman. He would travel from town to town
selling different products to pharmacies and specialised shops. He depended on this
money to feed his growing family, to pay the mortgage on his house and to maintain
his car for his travels. And sometimes, it was very hard. He told me there would be
months where things would be very complicated and he was not selling anything at
all, and the money was becoming less and less.
And when things were like this, when it was very hard to sell anything, my father
started to invest a good sum of money to go to a very good restaurant and eat a
very decent, delicious meal. After he did this, immediately clients would call and
he would start again selling very well his products.
If money is not used, it is just paper: it is worth nothing and it will attract
nothing.

These three basic ideas about money are an essential key for unlocking the
abundance gene inside our beings. Money is attracted to where there is already a
lot of it, the more money you give, the more money you get and, money is only
valuable if it is used.

This should be enough for a perseverant aspirant to meditate upon these principles,
and be able to develop a system for spiritual abundance very easily.
Still, it might not be enough as there is a determining factor for this material
success journey.

This factor is our mind. Our mind can empower or destroy all our aspirations if we
don’t put it into the right frame.
For you to become material wealthy and spiritually evolving, your mind must work
with you, so you should take into consideration three factors:
Intention, Motivation and purpose.

Intention is what you want,

Motivation is why you want,
Purpose is the grand goal behind it.

For example: I want to have 1000 euros, because I want to travel to travel to
Denmark to study as yoga teacher aspirant. Yoga has transformed my life, and I wish
to be able to share this gift with more people in our world.

When you have a clear goal (intention), and you have a strong desire for reaching
that goal (motivation), and this is meant to serve an elevated noble ideal
(purpose), then your mind will be convinced that it is extremely good for you to
have those 1000 euros.

Then we are only missing the third part of this very efficient method to obtain
material prosperity: which is action. It is not enough to desire to have money, you
have to do something about it. If you don’t know how to deal, the first action you
should take is to invest in yourself, buy books, take workshops, see documentaries,
learn what is money and how money works. After this all you have to do is be
inspired and open to act. To be brave enough to act. To risk.

To inspire you for this I will share with you a case study that is very typical.
This young man discovered spirituality, he starts to do yoga, reiki, healing and
therapies, and changes his life. Being someone interested in helping others, and
offering this help at a more spiritual level he believes, like many believe, that
this should be done for free. He helps people and he loves to do it, but after a
while he has rent to pay and food to buy, and he cannot anymore do this, he must
find a job so he can support himself. At this point he thinks why not to open a
therapy center (like many do, just look at how many new therapy places we have per
month) and try to combine this so I can live doing what I love the most?

He does that, but not being very good at it and not trusting himself completely, he
doesn’t value himself, or his time. A 1h session frequently ends up taking 2h or
more, a 30 euro consultation can easily become for free if the person “really needs
it”, and like this, not many people are coming, although the business still
survives for a time, it is not sustainable.

This young man then learns about these principles, and about these golden ideas,
and he designed a system to become extremely good at handling money.
His intention was to have a lot of money, with the motivation to learn to deal with
the energy of money and abundance. His purpose was to teach spiritual aspirants to
become extremely good with dealing with money so that we can have a world where the
most spiritual beings are also the beings with the greatest resources. He imagines
that if the spiritual aspirants and spiritual schools are having at least as much
money and resources as non spiritual companies, the yin yang at this level balances
and our planet can jump to a next level of evolution regarding the material,
earthly integration of our world.

And so this young man followed his system with great precision. Following it he
managed to get a small amount of money to invest. He used this money to rent a
place and furbish it beautiful. He invested his time into becoming extremely good
at what he does, and to make sure of this, he raised the price of his
consultations. It went from being free, or 30 euros, for one hour sessions that
would take many times 2h to do, to a 240% increase, his sessions now cost at least
100 euro per hour, and the session really does take one hour.

He values himself, he values his work and he values his time. By increasing the
energy (money) in such a dramatic way, we get truth and reality to hit us very
fast: if you are not good at what you do, you will have nobody coming to your
sessions, and thus, the universe will naturally eliminate you. You realize you are
not good and you can go learn to be better or try something else. But if you are
good, then people will come, and your business will prosper and you will have all
the resources you need for all the beneficial actions that you do integrated into
God’s almighty will. And this is what I wish for all of you here.

So do have the courage to learn, to invest, to become very good and to increase
dramatically the amount of energy and money you have in your life. You will speed
up tremendously your evolution and your capacity to make an impact in the world.
