Dear Family,

Our reunion committee is pleased to finally announce the details of the Boykin Family Reunion, which
will be held in Memphis, Tennessee on June 28-30, 2019. We are looking forward to reconnecting with
one another, celebrating cherished family memories, and creating new memories—and for some,
meeting for the very first time.

Memphis, the “Home of the Blues” and the “Birthplace of Rock N’ Roll,” were chosen for our 2019
reunion because “there’s no place on earth quite like Memphis.” We will be headquartered at the Crown
Plaza -Memphis East, 2625 Thousand Oaks Boulevard, Memphis TN 38118, (901) 362-6200 and 7 miles
to Memphis International Airport.

In addition to Beale Street, there are several “must sees” in Memphis. They include the Stax Museum of
American Soul Music, Graceland, National Civil Rights Museum, and Tunica Resorts located in
Robinsonville, Mississippi—just a 30-minute drive from Memphis.

We have enclosed a registration form to be submitted with your payments for the reunion. We
encourage everyone to submit his or her payment at his or her earliest convenience. It is primarily
important to establish an attendee head-count to assist in our planning efforts.

Our reunion headquarters will be the Crowne Plaza - Memphis East. The special Boykin Family Reunion
2012 room rate is $109 per night plus applicable taxes for King Room and $129.00 for double rooms.
Individual reservations for the hotel must be made no later than June 7, 2019. We cannot guarantee
any room availability or discounted pricing after the deadline. So, please don’t wait, make your
reservations today! Crowne Plaza – Memphis East offers a central location that's near restaurants and
shopping malls.
