How to Disable System Integrity Protection in OS X
El Capitan
by NMac Ked

System Integrity Protection security feature is effective and the vast majority of Mac users should leave rootless
enabled, some advanced Mac users may find rootless to be overly protective. Thus, if you’re in the group of
advanced Mac users who do not want SIP rootless enabled on their OS X installation, we’ll show you how to
turn this security feature off.

To do so :

1. Restart your Mac.
2. Before OS X starts up, hold down CommandR and keep it held down until you see an Apple icon and a
progress bar. Release. This boots you into Recovery.
3. From the Utilities menu, select Terminal.
4. At the prompt type exactly the following and then press Return: csrutil disable
5. Terminal should display a message that SIP was disabled.
6. From the  menu, select Restart.

I tried too pressing option in the beggining, appears my recovery, then I click and appears the same

There is a way to play (in my case the sims 4 vampires) without disable SIP? Or another way to
disable SIP without using recovery? I was playing the older version (V1.25) without problems.
Please Please Plese NMac help me!!!

The point 4 that you are talking about is to turn on back the SIP!!

This article is made to teach people how to disable ( turn off ) the SIP "System Integrity
Protection"

So the first part where the point 4 is :

At the prompt type exactly the following and then press Return: csrutil disable

That command is to turn off the SIP

And in case you want to enable back the SIP ( turn on ) move to the second part of this
article where the point 4 is:

At the prompt type exactly the following and then press Return: csrutil enable

Hope it is clear and easy for you :)

Good Luck

I am so sorry yes it is true but the lack of a red background in the words: How to Re-
Enable System Integrity Protection in OS X confused me to thinking it was the first,
yet again thank so much for answering so quickly it's incredible how yo run this site!
is it just you?

Don't worry :)

It is impossible for one person to handle all this!!! ( Server, Maintenance,

Monitoring, Posting, Uploading, and now the torrent server ........ etc ) This is
really hard and big job

Any way if you need further support, don't hesitate to ask

Yes I do need more support because my safari notifications won't appear
