1. T Write Amazon, Everest, Sahara on the board in the wrong order, Ss try to
rearrange and also guess the name of the places correctly – explain which is a
desert, river, mountain etc

II. Lesson
1. Ss read the text and listen to audio 1.49.
2. Ss repeat the words in blue chorally
3. Ss copy the table into their books, sort the words in blue from exercise 1 into two
columns
4. Check answers
5. Ss read exercise 3 questions and answer in pairs. Compare with other pairs.
