DepEd Division of Bataan will conduct the Division Seminar-Workshop in Conducting Science Investigatory Project on January 25-27, 2017 at Tomas Pinpin Elementary School, Abucay, Bintan: The seminar-workshop aims to provide opportunity for science teachers and students to learn not onlv the princinles and methods of science but also ethics associated with science. . The objectives of the seminar-workshop are the following: a. Intensify our SGience Program in conducting Science Investigatory Project; b. Enhance the skills of teachers and students in Science Investigatory Project; c. Provide an avenue for science teachers and students to have a hands-on in conducting SIP; d. Inculcate among science teachers and students a research culture such that, as much as possible, base their perception, conclusions and decisions on research findings. |. Participants to this seminar-workshop are two junior science teachers, ont, Stim teashnle/STEM)-thsna,niassiucantse(psalacablys sade Sand.) anda ssiiosigh, STEM student per school. Participants are advised to bring their laptops and extension wires. Science Department Heads are enigined to attend the said activity, The final list of participants shall be submitted to the Education Program Supervisor-Science on or before January 17, 2017. Failure to submit means non-attendance to this seminar. Enclosure to this Memorandum are the Training Matrix and Working Committees.6. Travelling expenses and a registration fee of Six hundred pesos (P600.00) are charged per teacher-participant for the foods chargeable against school MOOE/LSB funds ‘Student-participants’ expenses (foods, hand-outs, CDs and other training expenses will be charged to SEF subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations. 7.
