It will not be an exaggeration if I claim that the
topic “public health” captures my mind immediately as it is of equal concern for human beings on the surface of earth. In lieu of multiple opinions, first group categorically opines that public health is a mandatory subject for all and sundry because sound health of public can only ensure the survival and epitome of physical grandeur of human species. And, on the contrary, others assert that public health can be dealt on ordinary grounds because there is no need of draining astronomical resources in this sector due to its respective priority in queue of other national challenges.
Referring to the opinion of those who declare
that modern age owes a variety of public health issues yet, responsible nations are on the way of research and execution of the policies framed for the improvement of public health on large scale. I, no doubt, have realistic reasons behind my assertion in the sense that they further establish that public health, today, has become a global concern setting aside regional preferences because global interaction.
Moving on to the opinion of the others in this
regard, they are more enthusiastic while commenting that public health should be given fractional consideration because apart from it, there are a lot of issues with more gravity in the lives of the nations like defence, economy, agriculture, politics and education as well. They further elaborate that public health is mutual responsibility of individuals and governments as well, giving an impression that it is more logical and natural.
Now, in the light of both above-mentioned
views, it would not suffice to arrive at conclusion more viably. To sum up the topic, it is evident that neither public health can be ignored nor it can be considered wholesome of nation’s life. I would like to assert that a need-based approach will be more workable in ensuring sound public health as it is back bone of a nation’s strength. Quoting a glaring example of Nepal where government has recently opened more than 10000 health care units for public health. Writing task 2(Recalling) Recalling last two decades reminds me of the drastic changes and heated discussions regarding dance and music as important part of culture on a large scale in different strata of society. Advocates of the topic are of the view that dance and music penetrate into human soul with force, and later on, handles the strings of their thoughts and actions. Whereas, opponents categorically opine that music and dance as part of a culture is a rubbish activity because culture should only represent national vision and goals only. So prima facie, it seems complicated to draw a single conclusion. Quoting the glaring example of Hindu culture which is enriched with dance and music will bring us at ease to discuss the worthy opinions of the advocates of the topic. They further establish that music and dance both are genres or art which are meant to spark the disillusioned souls. It can also be reckoned that music and dance are mere natural flares and such things should not be kept aloof from cultural spectrum. Now, on the contrary, others establish that dance and music are mere activities of time past they should not be introduced and promoted likewise due to a variety of reasons. Both make human being impractical, unconscious, irrational and spiritually starved. In the same fashion, they go to the extent of saying that music and dance are only the part of those cultures which are themselves incapacitated for the execution of national vision and goals. Certainly, the example of Muslim culture will support their view point. To conclude the whole discussion, we may assert that music and dance are important of part of most of the cultures of the world today. It depends upon the socio-political system of a state which either allows dance and music as important norm of a culture or it condemns it on the ground of rationality and pragmatism as well. Bringing in the example of Pakistan where both spectrums exist simultaneously, will definitely strengthen our moderate views in this regard. Writing task (Literally Speaking) Literally speaking, the given topic role of media is of common interest as it has close relevance to our life, people have divergent speculations about functions of media along with its positive impacts i.e. awareness, enlightenment, success and acknowledgment. On the contrary, media exploits civil rights, ruins the lives of helpless people and becomes puppet in the hands of those who are on the helm of affairs. But, I will love to take up the subject according to my point of view in detail because it has a universal appeal with multiple aspects. First of all, advocates of first perspective claim that, media is making people aware of day to day issues. It has become fundamental source of enlightenment which is mandatory for peoples’ success and development. Accordingly, it would be equally appropriate to explain another possible side of the same that media is also paving way for their success and awareness pertaining to most emergent issues of modern age. In actuality, the opponents of the subject under discussion are of the view that media is always biased and prejudiced and even puppet in the hands of influential people. They want to hunt their fishy motives while misusing role of media. Their view point, too, cannot be overlooked as it clarifies the evil picture of role of media. So, we can assert that it is almost unacceptable to avoid them. In culmination of above lines, we may opine that media is being used both for welfare as well demise of nations across the globe. So, after this comprehensive dissertation, we can say that it not the media itself rather it is its usage of the same which brings forth its respective implications. And last but not the least, selection of proper direction always plays a positive role. And I would love to quote a last example and that is of Geo News which has gained ground in Pakistan with both its positive and biased role.
