Fish for lunch

Last week, Jane went to the beach with her family. It was the hottest and
sunniest day of the year. In the morning, Jane’s mum took photos. Her
brothers went trampolining. Her dad went diving. Jane was bored. She
walked on the beach. She got some wood and she made a fire.
At lunchtime, Jane’s dad said, ‘I’m going to cook some fish on the campfire.’
He went fishing, but he didn’t catch any fish. Everyone was hungry. Jane’s
parents wanted to buy some food, but there weren’t any supermarkets near
the beach. Jane went to a café. The waitress at the café was friendly. She
