Comets are basically dusty snowballs which orbit the Sun. They are
made of ices, such as water, carbon dioxide, ammonia and methane,
mixed with dust. An asteroid is a large, irregularly shaped object in
space that orbits our Sun. asteroids are made up of rock or even metal.
Comets and asteroids have characteristics.
Ask:
 Based on the activity that you conducted, what happens when a
comet or an asteroid hits Earth?
 Relate the lesson to the daily life of the students through their
experiences.
