Key Understanding:
This is the 9th lesson that students are engaging in
C1 Jesus celebrated the Bible
with this unit.
In previous lessons, students have been wondering
Learning Point(s): about their inner strength and how they can use it for
good. They have recognised and identified that inner

2. State purpose of the lesson to students:
- Today we’re going to explore how Jesus celebrated the Bible
during his life. Then we will look at the different ways that we
can celebrate the Bible in our everyday life.

1. During his life on Earth, Jesus taught his followers to celebrate
the Bible. Let’s have a look at some of the times that Jesus
used the Bible.

3. Explain the activity for students to complete:


- In your reflection journals, you need to write their own plan
about how you will celebrate the Bible in two ways; on your own
and with your families.
Students who finish early can illustrate their ideas on the page.

4. Send students to their desks to begin the activity.
5. Walk around the room and assist students as needed.

4. Re-emphasise the main message of the lesson: As Catholics,
we need to celebrate the Bible like Jesus did when he was alive
on Earth.
