FACTS, INFERENCES AND JUDGEMENTS

 Recently nicotine, the main chemical additive in cigarettes, was declared addictive by the Food
and Drug Administration.
This explains why smokers continue to use cigarettes even though smokers are aware of the
constantly warned about health dangers in cigarettes.
Thus, it’s high time that cigarettes be banned in the country.
 The economies of the industrialized western world derive 20% of their income from the sale of
all kinds of arms.
Even without war, we know that conflicts continue to trouble us – they only change in character.
Inequitable distribution of all kinds of resources is certainly one of the strongest and most
sinister of conflict.
 The researchers found that electric car batteries are likely to burn out within two years,
requiring expensive replacements.
The research carried out by the Institution of Engineering and Technology suggests that claims
about the performance of electric vehicles are pure fantasy.
The technology used for electric car batteries is so backward they will die within two years.
 Both god and the individual contribute to every human act: God establishes the end and the
human selects the means.
Much like a person might wish for double sixes in rolling dice, recognizing that the outcome
rests contingently on natural probabilities, God wills that all humans attain perfection, knowing
the ultimate result is contingent upon the vagaries of personal free choice.
He introduces a distinction between two ways in which God wills events to occur by pointing
that God wills some events to occur necessarily, and other events contingently.
