Home Reading Log  
 
Our reading goal at this point in the school year is for fourth grade students to be reading at least one hour 
and twenty minutes per week at home. This reading can be divided up into four twenty minute blocks, or any 
other way that works best for your family. Students can read independently or be read to aloud. Taking turns 
reading out loud can be fun too! After each reading session, please complete one line of the chart below. A new 
reading log will be passed out each Monday and needs to be returned each Friday.
