21 cities took part across Spain. Donation of €6,000 to the Sandra
Ibarra Foundation thanks to the recycling of glass packaging
and the sale of solidarity mini-igloos.

04 Glass in exchange for cake

2,500 King’s cakes were distributed in Madrid on the eve of Three
King’s Day. More than 9,000 glass bottles recycled in one day.

05 WWF reforestation
A public movement to recycle glass packaging in support of the
reforestation of the Sierra de Alcublas (20,000 hectares
devastated). Planting of 1,200 trees.

- 605 new containers in 2017
- New door-to-door system in the centre, the Salamanca
district and Vallecas. 500 establishments involved

02 Integral Glass Recycling Plan for Málaga

- Increase of 26% in the number of containers in the last
three years (+213)
- 150 establishments signed up to the door-to-door system
in the historic centre and Pedregalejo
- Increase of 7.8% in selective collection in 2017 vs. 2016
- A 33% growth in selective waste collection in the last
three years, since Ecovidrio has been directly managing
