What is a drug?

Definition of drugs

- A chemical substance that can alter the biological functioning and structure of a living
organism. Can be synthetic or natural.

Categories of drugs (Medical, recreational legal, recreational illegal)

On the board label each with a heading and ask students to complete underneath and write in their
workbooks.
