Single image dehazing can benefit many computer vision applications hence has attracted much

more attention in recent years. However, it still remains a challenging task due to its double
uncertainty of scene transmission and scene radiance. The existing image dehazing methods
usually impair edges in the estimated transmission which leads to halo effects in the dehazing
results.[1](Liu, Gao et al. 2018)
Mounting temperature impedes the conversion eiciency of photovoltaic systems. Studies have
shown drastic eiciency escalation of PV modules, if cooled by nanoluids. Ability of nanoluids to
supplement the eiciency improvement of PV cells has sought atention of researchers. This
chapter presents the magnitude of improved eiciency found by diferent researchers due to the
cooling via nanoluids.[2](Ali, Shah et al. 2018).
Neural stimulation is usually performed with fairly large platinum electrodes.
Smaller electrodes increase the applied charge density, potentially damaging the electrode.
Greater understanding of the charge injection mechanism is required for safe neural stimulation.
Approach. The charge injection mechanism and charge injection capacity were measured by
cyclic voltammetry. Electrodes were cleaned mechanically or by potential cycling in acidic
solutions.[3](Harris, Newbold et al. 2018)
Carbon fiber reinforced aluminum laminates (CARALL) are one of the aluminum based Fiber
metal laminates (FMLs) which, due to their high strength to weight ratio and good impact
resistance are greatly replacing aluminum alloys in aircraft structures. In this research work,
interlaminate shear strength of Vacuum assisted resin transfer molding (VARTM) manufactured
CARALL has been investigated. Numerical simulation model incorporated with real time
material data has been developed to predict the delamination behavior of CARALL laminates.

The purpose of face sketch synthesis technique is to generate a sketch from an input face image
given a set of face sketch-photo images as the training set. Since face sketch synthesis is
attracting huge attentions, an experimental study to existing methods is nontrivial. This paper
provides a comprehensive review and comparative study to representative face sketch synthesis
