2.1.3. Extra Inputs
This choice is available when the car communication type is set as serial.
Unused : The extra inputs on the serial card are not used for any special purpose.
M0, M2 and M3 : The extra inputs will be used for M0, M2 and M3. The counter type
must have been chosen as gray code.
Adoor Open/Close : The extra inputs will be used for automatic door's open and close
signals input.
Range 0-4. 0 shows that there is no basement floors. When the basement floors are set, digital
displays are set automatically.
If the “Automatic Door” setting is set to “None”, this setting is not displayed. If “Automatic
Door” is set to “Semi Automatic”, “Wait Open” choice is displayed. If “Automatic Door” is
set to “Full Automatic”, the choices are “Wait Open” and ”Wait Close”, but for “CE
compatibility”, “Wait Close” choice must be set.
The time for automatic door before closing when the adoor type is configured as “Wait Closed”.
The control card’s behaviour is chosen for the 7-segment outputs short circuit.
Yes : When display outputs are short circuit, control card clears the display outputs and

cleared again and control cards work is blocked. Else elevator goes on working.
No : When the display outputs are short circuit, the control card clears the display
outputs.

2.1.11. Counter Error Blockage
The behaviour of the system when the counter error occurs, is selected in this
Available : When the counter error occurs, the car stops. If the car stopped at the floor
level, the system is blocked directly. If the car stopped between two floors, the car begins
to move on the opposite direction of its last direction at second speed. It stops when it
comes to the floor level, opens doors and blocked.
None : When counter error occurs, the system goes to normal mode after a 10 second
delay.
It is defined by second unit. Busy relay is used at the simple push button type.
After the calls are finished, when the car is waiting at “Normal Mode”, the time for car lamp to
be on is configured in this setting.
When the car passes to second speed, the time that the car will continue travel until JF cuts, is
configured from this setting.
At the collective systems, the time, when the car arrives at a floor, before it departs for another
floor, is configured from this setting. The unit is in seconds.
The fire stop is configured in this setting. If none will be used, select “None”.
After the car got a call and the door is closed, the waiting time for the lock circuit to close is
configured here. The unit is in seconds.
If wanted, the system can inform if the door circuit stayed open for a time which is set before.
The unit is in minutes.

2.1.20. Travel Time Between Two Floors
While the car is travelling to its target, if the M1(counter bistable) doesn't change for a time
which is configured, the car stops and informs an error message. The time is configured in this
setting, the unit is in seconds.
2.1.21. RP Delay
At the speed controlled systems, after the direction relays release, the time before the mechanical
brakes starts working is configured from this setting in miliseconds. If no speed control device is
used, the setting can be set to “Cancel”.
Digital Display: This displays the floor number on 7-segment digital display.
At Floor Signal: In this type, the controller generates signal for all floors seperately. The
signal displays at the floor which the car is at.
While the car is travelling up direction, if there is no down limit switch, the car can switch into
error state, if configured.
When a lock error occurs, the state of the system is configured, as blocked or un blocked.
After the system finishes all the car calls the car will go, it goes to a pre-defined floor. If wanted
the floor is defined in this setting, if not the setting must be set as “None”.
If a “Park Floor” is chosen, this setting will be enabled. When the car finishes all the calls, the
time before going to the defined floor, is configured from this setting. The unit is in minutes.

2.1.28. Floor Correcting
If configured as “Base Floor”, when the voltage feed comes to the controller, if the conditions
are available, the car goes to the base floor and corrects its memory for floor number that it is at
at the moment.
At the inspection mode, when the car comes to the top or base floor, the stopping switch is
chosen in this setting.
KSR: The car stops when the direction's limit switch is off.
JF: The car stops after limit switch when the JF switch is off.
When the car will go to a call, wait time after the door is closed and before the retire cam is on,
is configured from this setting in seconds unit.
This function does the reset floor function only on the menu exit if selected.
In this setting, the floors may be named with alpha-numeric characters. By pressing down button,
the labelling function starts. If the arrow (→) is in front of “FLR:”, the floor that will be named
is selected by the up and down buttons. Else if the arrow (→) is in front of “Disp”, the name that
will be given to the floor is selected by the up and down buttons. The arrows position is
controlled by right and left buttons. When the arrow is at the right, pressing right, or when the
arrow is at the left, pressing left button exits the labelling function.
The configuration that are done in the “Floor Labels” setting, can be reset here. To reset to the
defaults, press down button.
Very Important Note: For activating the changed configurations, the quitting process must be
done from the “Quit Menu” selection. Do not cut the feed of the card until it restarts itself.

2.2. FAULT RECORDS
The faults which are recorded during the system works is listed in this application. Last 50 faults
can be listed.
If there are no faults recorded, “No Fault Records” message will be seen just after entering the
Fault Records from the Main Menu. If any fault record exists, at the up row of the LCD, the ID
of the fault is written at left and the floor the fault occured is written in front of it. At the down
row the fault message is displayed.
By using up and down buttons, the faults can be viewed in the order of happening date. The
screen will switch to erase record screen, if left button is pressed. To erase records press down
button. To exit the application, press right button until the exit screen is displayed, then again
press down button. The system will return to its normal process. (For the error Ids please check
the Fault Records Guide).
This application is useful after finishing the elevator build up or at the maintanence. After started,
the car goes to the bottom floor, and sets its floor the 0. Then goes to the top and comes back to
the bottom floor, stopping at every floor, makes screening. If any fault occurs meanwhile, it
stops and shows the fault. This application provides an easy fault fixation. To find the reasons of
the faults please check Fault Fixing Guide. The faults can be checked in this application are:
Lock Fault : After the car arrives at the floor, the lock circuit
must release. If the lock circuit is still on, this error is displayed.
JF Error 1 : If JF doesn't become off while the 2nd speed travel
time, this error occurs.
JF Error 2 : If the JF is off at the time that the floor counts, this
error will be shown.
KSR Error : If the limit switch is off before the car comes to
the top floor, this error is displayed.
KSRs OFF: This error is show if both of the limit switches are
off at the same time.
Lock Circuit Cannot Close : Before the car departs from the
floor, after the door is closed and the lock circuit didn't close, this error occurs.
Door Circuit Opened : If the door circuit opens while the car is
travelling, this fault is displayed.
Lock Circuit Opened : If the lock circuit opens while the car is
travelling, this fault is displayed.
Stop Circuit OFF : At any time if the stop circuit is off, this
error will be seen.
Counter Error : If the car travels without any change of M1
counter switch during the configured time, this error is shown.
Digital Short Circuit : If there is a short circuit on the digitals,
this error is shown.
No Contactor Feedback : If there is no contactor feedback
when the car is not moving, this error is displayed.
6
Note: If any of these mentioned faults occurs, the program will be blocked. To start again, the
card electricity feed must be cut and given back.
When this application is started, the system checks all the security circuits, and the car begins to
go down until the down limit switch cuts off. By this way, the system sets itself to first floor.
3. MANUAL CONTROL
To enter this application, start right button in normal mode. In this application, when up button
hold, the car moves up in slow speed, and when down button hold, it moves down. The
movement direction is shown on the LCD. During this application the security circuits are
checked.
4. FAULT IDs
