APRIL 2018

MARKETING SUMMARY
OPEN BOOTH

1. The month of April 2018 where the company has organized many open booth to
cover certain Kota Kinabalu Area. The planning was to focus on commercial building
and attract customer from private sector. The marketing plans were executed
accordingly and many potential clients and prospects were kept during the open
booth activities. The summary details as follow:

1.1 Hospital Queen Elizabeth II

 The open booth was conducted for two days starting on 5th April 2018
(Thursday) until 6th April 2018 (Friday).
 The purposes are to follow up the existing customer and collecting data for
new prospects.
 The outcome after taking consideration from Sales Executive, they suggested
that there are not many potential customers during the open booth. The
market is limited due to certain staff qualification and some of the staff was
not ready to buy the house due to their own personal planning.
 Sales Executive was not managed to get any booking fee during the open
booth as well as the potential prospect.
 Plan of Action: The open booth should be arranged at least gap around 3
months

1.2 Hari Guru Malaysia

 In Conjunction with collaboration with PPD Tuaran, an open booth has been
setup for one day on 10th April 2018 (Tuesday).
 All Sales and Marketing Mobile Team were involved during the open booth.
 The event was attended by all teachers and staff from all over schools and
mostly from Tuaran district.
 During the open booth, all staff was distributing the flyers for both Taman
Emas Ria and Taman Tropika Ria.
 Although there are no customer who placing booking fee but the sales
Executive were managed to get potential prospect contact number to be
follow up.
 Most of the teachers were busy during the open booth due to the event
conducted and attended by highly officer and minister from sabah cabinet.
 As Overall, the open was good platform for marketing branding.
 Plan of Action: Collaboration with Government is good platform.

1.3 CIMB Api Api Centre

 The open booth was conducted within three days which is starting from 18th
April 2018 (Wednesday) until 20th April 2018 (Friday).
 The outcome was successful and Sales Executive was managed to get
potential prospects.
 The location was strategic due to near with the Kota Kinabalu Centre and
commercial building. Most of the public were used the services.
 Because of the location is very strategic, most of the Sales Executive
recommend to have another open booth in the future
 Plan of Action: All sales Executive are requires to bring free gift candy
together with the promotion pamphlet to the public.

1.4 Wisma Pertanian

 The open booth is highly requested from Sales Executive due to the potential
area and prospect. The open booth has been conducted for three days
starting from 18th April 2018 (Wednesday) until 20th April 2018 (Friday).
 Mostly the salary range of the works those who working at Wisma Pertanian
are the range of RM2500.00 until RM3500.00
 Sales Executive was managed to get prospect contact number to be follow up.
 As for marketing branding, sales executive keep on distributing the flyers for
the current projects.
 Plan of Action: Mostly of the staff was worked as government servant under
state government and the location was very strategic and highly recommend
conducting an open booth in the future.

1.5 CIMB Inanam

 The open booth has been set up in front of main entrance for three days
which are starting from 23rd April 2018 (Monday) until 25th April 2108
(Wednesday).
 The response from the public not as much encourage compared to CIMB
branch located at Api-Api but the sales executive was managed to get
prospect contact number to be follow up.
 The less encouraging from the people might be due general election and
people were concern and focused on polling day.
 Plan of Action: The location might be taking consideration for any open booth
in the future.

1.6 AFFIN Bank Berhad

 The booth has been setup for three days starting on 25th April 2018
(Wednesday) until 27th April 2018 (Friday).
 The prospects on the area are not much and mostly of the interest prospect
have high commitment and not qualify for the loan application.
 The chances to get a good and quality prospects is low due to the area is not

covered many commercial shop as well as people come by for the business
purposes only.
 Plan of Action: The location will be taking in consideration for any open
booth in the future. However, the location also can be a potential due to near
with KWSP building and famous restaurant.

1.7 Wisma WANITA

 The open booth has been setup starting on 25th April 2018 (Wednesday) until
27th April 2018 (Friday) for three days.
 Mostly of the staff was work under state government as well as Federal.
There are state government department and offices were located on the
building.
 The response from the staff and public were good and mostly people who
coming are very responsive especially the staff on the building. The prospects
are mostly promising and the contact numbers can be kept to be follow up for
another incoming project.
 Due to general election, mostly of the staff were going for the campaign and
only a few left on the building.
 Plan of Action: The location will be taking in consideration for any open
booth in the future due to cost renting but the prospects are high quality and
can afford to buy the company project.

1.8 Institut Latihan Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia

 The open has been setup for two days starting on 25th April 2018
(Wednesday) until 26th April 2018 (Thursday).
 As for result, the booth is less crowded and mostly of the people are student
from nurse course.
 The potential target will be focusing only to the officer and teaching staff.
 There is not much contact number of the prospects can be collected.
 Plan of Action: The management has been decided not to setup open booth in
the future but only focusing for independent marketing on the area.

1.9 NAVY Hari TLDM

 NAVY TLDM is one the carnival that organized by NAVY management.


Basically, the booth is started on 28th April 2018 (Saturday) until 29th April
2018 (Sunday) for two days.
 There are lot of activities and open booth has been rented during the event
was conducted.
 Mostly of people that are coming were from KK and Tuaran area.
 The prospects are high quality and mostly of the sales executive was
managed to get contact numbers of the prospect during the carnival.
 Plan of Action: Any collaboration or carnival organized by Government is
platform for marketing branding especially for project branding. It is highly
recommended to join any event or carnival organized by the government.

1.10 Karnival Thalassemia

 The carnival has been conducted at Yayasan Sabah only for one day which is
on 29th April 2018 (Sunday).
 Susilah Kadir is the only sales executive who has been assigned to do
independent marketing especially distributing the flyers to the public.
 Basically, many activities were conducted during the day and most of the
activities are mainly to sport and leisure.
 Plan of Action: Due to there are two carnivals were conducted on the same
time, focusing another major event is crucial. This carnival can be used as
platform for project branding and people get to know the latest project by the
company.

SUMMARY REPORT SALES MOBILE TEAM

Abdul Fathizhar (Team Leader)


 Summary: Abdul Fathizhar was focusing on doing directly sales on social
media and appointment arrangement. Fathizhar was managed to booked two
(2) units for Taman Tropika Ria for the month of April. As Team Leader for
Sales Mobile Team, he monitoring the open booth activities and joining
together with another sales executive.
 Suggestion: Propose to Sales Management by distributing the flyers at
government quarters and apartment. Create video or put some of the
animation on the video for marketing tools to attract people to buy the house
and to make it easy and convenient to Sales executive in terms of explaining
the information to the people.
 Sales Performance:

Tracy Wong (Senior Sales Executive)


 Summary: The main approach that has been used by Tracy Wong is still
similar which Independent marketing by going to other places is. Basically,
Tracy focusing on explaining on details about the project to the customer.
Somehow, Tracy was managed to get the booked by doing independent
marketing. However, she struggling for a few past months due to the health
condition and limited marketing on certain area.
 Suggestion: Give the customer an attractive gift those who place for the
booking fee and promotion for booking fee.
 Sales Performance:

Susilah Kadir (Senior Sales Executive)


 Summary: For the month of April, Susilah was managed to close three (3)
units for both Taman Emas Ria and Taman Tropika Ria. Basically, the
approach that has been used by susilah is media marketing and appointment
through any client texting on the facebook and advertising. Eventhough the
market was too slow, Susilah using her currently and existing customer to get
for new prospects.
 Suggestion: Focus advertising on social online through facebook, mudah,
property and related to online marketing.

Marlina Udan (Sales Executive)


 Summary: Marlina will always follow up her customer and prospects for any
contact numbers that has been kept during the open booth activities. Each
week, Marlina will be focusing to close the sales through the follow up
customer. Marlina doing her independent marketing
 Suggestion: Communicate with utmost honest to customer and talk slowly to
the customer to close the unit. Independent Marketing at government
building during the office hour.
 Sales Perfomance:

Mohd Ramzi (Sales Executive)


 Summary: In short, for almost few months having difficultly to place any
booking fee. The management has given verbal warning through letter and
due to general election campaign, mostly of the customer was held their
decision to book the units. Mohd Ramzi has initiative to get many prospects
but unfortunately none of the customer qualified. Mohd Ramzi changes his
marketing planning by going straight marketing to the public.
 Suggestion: Continuously follow-up the interested potential prospect and
consult the customer with the utmost and give some awareness the
importance of buying housing property. Focusing customer who qualified
enough to buy the property accordingly to their own budget.
 Sales Performance:

M.Arfah Ariffin (Sales Executive)


 Summary: Arfah arise certain issues why he didn’t manage to get or close
any booking due to most of the people were focusing on General election. The
public opinion waiting for any change or reformation of new government if
there is any relaxation of housing policy. Arfah believe that after the general
election is done, the mind-set of the public will be change.
 Suggestion: Arrange some of the talk and gather all the government staff or
some of commercial company to do simple talk regarding the benefits to own
housing property and awareness of the advantage of housing property.
 Sales Performance:

Yong Kwong Sheng (Sales Executive)


 Summary: Kwong using different approach of marketing style for every
month. For the last month, soft marketing by online and social media and
focusing prospect who coming from the booth.
 Suggestion: Doing the independent marketing during the hectic and peak
hours especially on lunch time. Attractive free gift those client who place
their booking unit on the project.

Hedwig Muslik (Sales Executive)
 Summary: Basically, Hedwig were focused on doing independent marketing
on residential area at apartment. Target prospect those who renting the
apartment and who still did not owned any home property.
 Suggestion: Organize more events at government sector.
 Sales Performance:

Md Azhar Bin Suhaimi (Sales Executive)


 Summary: Azhar is the new appointed Sales Executive hired by the Sales
Management. Coming from the Banking and has experiences on Sales at
Mortgage will be advantage to find the prospect. The approach that has been
used by Azhar is follow-up the existing customer and contact the previous
customer. Social media also one of the medium in getting the customer
especially on facebook page.
 Suggestion: Promotion on the booking fee and attractive free gift to be given
to the customer who manages to place the booking fee for any project of the
company.
 Sales Performance:

Mohd Zaki Bin Ibrahim @Junior (Sales Executive)


 Summary: Zaki or known as Junior is new appointed sales executive hired by
the company. Also coming from Sales background as sales advisor for
Mitshubishi, Junior using his own existing customer to approach customer to
find a market. Basically, Junior will advertise and market the company
product by using his own design product to make it attractive.
 Sugestion: Promotion fee for booking fee and attractive free gift to the
customer who booked the unit of the project.
 Sales Performance:

2. By May 2018, the sales management has hired three (3) new appointed approved
by Head of Department Sales and Marketing. The details as follow:

3. Marketing preparing for another term of marketing plan starting from July,
August and September. The content and context will be further discussed with Head
of Department Sales and Marketing. Marketing plan will be focusing on next project
which is Tuaran 7 and the sales for the remaining of left over projects. By the end of
November, Tuaran 7 should be fully advertising through soft marketing.
