to the scientific account that man made.
Similar in a sense that our religious belief
portrayed that God made our necessities
and needs before making human, necessities
such as light in order for us to see, water so
that we wouldn’t thirst, dry ground to walk on
and many more. The order of both accounts
seem logical which made me realize that
God is an organized God.
As I said in my previous insight, The Scientific
account and our religious belief on how Earth
was made is quite similar. The scientific
account however, showed a deeper
interpretation on how our planet was made. It
started with the Milky Way and ended with
the explosion of Earth 5 billion years from now.
(Quite terrifying if you ask me) The scientific
account also tackled the topic dinosaurs that
existed and also died on this very earth when
the Meteor knocked over Mexico, which the
religious aspect failed to mention. If I were to
ask what was my opinion with the Scientific
account, I would probably say that it is a
more detailed theory and can be seen in our
everyday lives.
The future truly terrifies me. The fact that we
can change it but box ourselves in a mindset
wherein we can’t is truly terrifying. We CAN
make a change yet we think that change is
impossible. If we don’t change our non-green
thumb ways, We’ll end up with the chances
of global warming increasing, with water
vaporizing ‘til we thirst and even extinction in
many species. Our technology may be
expanded although, is it really necessary? Is
technology a necessity? Is water and trees
suddenly secondary? Did God think of
creating technology before living creatures?
No. God made these necessities for own
good yet what do we do? We abuse it and I
think that is something we should reflect on
