SENIOR MANAGER
CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION AND MONITORING
UNIT
(GRADE G04 – KUALA LUMPUR)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Responsible to manage the Contract Administration & Monitoring (CAMU) under

Procurement Department;
 Supervise, resolve on problem arising from contract including cost variation, negotiations,
additional scope, penalty & payment;.
 Ensure SOP and regulation pertaining to Procurement and Finance are strictly followed
by user department;
 Monitor all contracts and ensure reminders are issued to user departments for prompt
action i.e. preparation for new tender, extension of time or variation order 6 months
before expiring date of the existing contracts;
 Coordinate/attend Technical Meetings and progress meeting, site meeting, negotiation
meeting and other contractual matters;
 To conduct training and knowledge sharing on regular basis to enhance internal
capabilities regarding contract monitoring
 To liaise within internal departments and relevant Ministries;
 Check and review contract payments through Sijil Kemajuan Kerja (SKK);
 Monitor the performance and deliverables of the existing projects;
 Be part of the evaluation committee for Government / KTMB's tenders.

REQUIREMENTS:

 Possess a Degree in Finance / Business Administration or any other equivalent field

from recognized university with at least five (5) years of related experience with
progressive management experience ; OR
 Minimum five (5) years of working experience as Manager Procurement on Job
Grade N03G05/N03AG05 (for internal candidates)
 At least 1 year experience in Tender & Contract Management
 Computer literate – MS Office (excel, word, power point etc.);
 Strong verbal and written communicants skills (English & Malay);
 Independent, able to manage issues and challenges under minimum supervision;
 Good interpersonal skills;
 Self motivated, goal oriented, confident, flexible, adaptable to a fast working environment,
work with others and independent to meet deadlines;
 Age 50 years old or below is preferred.
