Students will :

1. state words represent their feeling, conditions, senses, etc


2. make a simple sentence using adjectives
3. find and match adjectives to the opposites.

Lesson Procedure:
Review of Concept
1. Review
Start each lesson by reviewing exactly what an adjective is. Students should state or
restate that an adjective is a word that describes a noun. They should be able to tell that
adjectives often appeal to the five senses (words such as smelly, green, or loud), and that
many adjectives end in the suffix -y. Point out adjectives in sample.Recall students the
previous lesson

2.Warming Up
- provide some printed adjectives on small pieces of paper. Get students to identify the
words based on group of adjectives.
Feeling Conditions Senses -y
sad fine green dirty
tired fat sweet happy
strong new rough hungry
weak clean smooth angry
- students then build sentences from adjectives chosen.
Example: I am sad.
She is fine.
They are sweet.
You are happy.

3. Class activities
- Students listen and write numbers in the box. (page 11)
- Reding the chant aloud is a good way of pronunciation practice. Teacher provide more
words on white boards for students to play bingo. (page 12)
- Students connect words to picture then picture to adjective to make sentence
accordinglly.
- Students read the chants aloud . Teacher may change the adjectives for each student then
they memorize the chant in front of the text.
