2019 Art & Poetry Contest

My Favorite Dish Made with a
Locally Grown, Caught or Raised Product

HOW TO ENTER ELIGIBILITY

• Design a poster with original artwork OR craft a poem around
the theme: My Favorite Dish Made with a Locally Grown,
Caught or Raised Product.
• Posters should be designed on 11 x 17 in. white poster board
or heavy paper. Three-dimensional entries will not be
accepted. All poems must include a title, be 150 words or less,
and be typed and printed.
• Open to all Hawaiʻi keiki in grades K-8; one entry per student
permitted. All entrants MUST aquire permission from a
parent/guardian prior to submission.
• Winners MUST submit declaration attesting they meet the
eligibility requirements and an agreement that they will not
submit award-winning work in any other art or poetry contest.

2nd place: $50 gift card
