Since I was in senior high school, I have wanted to be a master and professional

researcher. After graduating from senior high school, I continued my study to Sriwijaya
University majoring In Mining Engineering. Then I chose Coal and Mineral as my
specialization because it is very interesting and also will become an important topic for our
future. Besides studying, I was a member of the asisstant of physic organization in my college
When having joined robotics team, I conducted some research in robotics field such as
firefighting robot, legged robot, and humanoid robot. Moreover, in the organization, I learnt
not only how to develop a robot but also how to organize and make a solid team. Also, I was
active in the blogger community called Plat-M which spreads knowledge in field information
technology like teaching use of information technology mainly in using internet well for
common people.

Now, I am a candidate of (DIKTI/LPDP/DAAD/OTHERS) scholarship for master

program and looking for university to continue my study. I choose Taiwan as Taiwan is one of
the most supportive countries for international students. For this reason, I plan to continue
my study in master of Computer Science and Information Engineering at National Yunlin
University of Science and Technology (YunTech). At the first glance, I have seen that YunTech
is one of the most prestigious universities in Taiwan and provides some courses related to my
interest in the field of computer science such as imaging and signal processing, biomedical
informatics, and robotics. Many research conducted by its professors is published in famous
international journals. Therefore, I am very interested to be involved in that research. I do
believe that studying at YunTech would enable me to be more expert in relation with my
interest. In addition, study abroad would be able to give me a chance to interact and
communicate with international students and communities. Moreover, I would be able to
learn other cultures and languages, work ethic and international cooperation and
organization. These will lead me to get more experience for hard and soft skills, which play
an important role in life and society.

In addition, I have acquired more information when the international office of

YunTech conducted presentation in Bandung and have read descriptions of the program
offered by Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering in which the
courses are the ones fulfilling my need. Therefore, it would be a good chance for me if
I am given an opportunity to join YunTech. Also, I will complete the master degree no more
than 2 years, give my best perform and show determination and hard work to make my
dreams come true.

Best regards
Seseorang pernah berkata kepada saya bahwa ketika
kita lahir, kedua tangan kita dalam keadaan
menggenggam. Seperti menggenggam sesuatu.
Katanya, sesuatu yang ada di dalam genggaman itu
adalah takdir kehidupan kita. Seperti cita-cita dan cinta.
Ketika kita melepaskan genggaman, takdir kehidupan
kita pergi. Maka pada saat itulah dunia akan
mendengar tangisan kita untuk pertama kalinya.
Namun suatu saat, kita akan menemukannya dan
kembali pada genggaman tangan kita.

“For those of us who have sat on such boards before, there are generally three

forgotten and those that are remembered for their flaws. In order to make sure
you fall into the first category, it is important to focus not only on content but also
