    Art and design have been among my biggest interests for a long time. In school, I took an art class every year and explored using different media to express my feelings through various textures. This summer, I tried to incorporate my academic interest in the environment and sustainable development into artworks that visualized the urgency of the issue, encouraging people to actually look up and realize how disastrous our environmental condition is. I aimed to include many different kinds of environmental issues in my art so that people become more knowledgeable about what is happening on Earth. Through this experience, I was convinced of the role of art in spreading awareness and enlightening people by widening access to social messages.
