 The solid waste treatment plant at Lamdeng (waste to
wealth) would be upgraded from “Waste to Compost”
to “Waste to Compost &Energy”purely on PPP mode
without any further investment from State
Government.
 120 metric tons of waste is generated which is
expected to created 1 MW of power
 Solid waste management is also done on a regional
basis funded by NLCPR.

USH/9 Development of green As per the SLIP prepared by PDA, Manipur, a total of 6 parks
belts in the cities were proposed under AMRUT scheme. Out of these, 2 are
proposed to be developed in FY 2015-16 viz., 1) Indira Park and
2) B.T. Park, with provision for children friendly facilities.
