LG UHD Smart TV | Netflix Promotion | Terms and Conditions

By participating in this Promotion, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”).

1. This LG UHD Smart TV Netflix Promotion (the “Promotion”) is promoted by LG Electronics Canada, Inc.
(the “Promoter”), and is only available to legal residents of Canada during the Promotion Period (defined
below).

2. The How to Claim instructions on point of purchase advertisements on a Qualifying TV form part of these
Terms.

3. The Promotion is available to Participants that purchase a 2017 manufactured qualifying LG OLED, Super
UHD or UHD SMART TV (each, a “Qualifying TV”) from a participating Canadian retailer between 00:00
A.M. E.T. on April 17, 2017 and 23:59 P.M. E.T. on July 16, 2017 (the “Promotion Period”). A list of
Qualifying TVs is available at http://www.lg.com/ca_en/tv-home-entertainment/netflix.

4. Any individual who enrolls in the Promotion must be at least the age of majority in their respective Canadian
Province or Territory of residence and must be a legal resident of Canada (each, a “Participant”).

5. Eligible Participants who purchase a Qualifying TV during the Promotion Period will have the ability to
redeem this Promotion in order to receive a three (3) month subscription , at no charge, to a Netflix Premium
plan, for access to available Netflix content within Canada (the “Netflix Premium”). Netflix Premium has an
average retail value of eleven Canadian dollars and ninety nine cents ($11.99 CAD) each month, for a total
value of thirty five Canadian dollars and ninety seven cents plus tax ($35.97 CAD + tax). Netflix Premium
offers unlimited television programs and films on four (4) simultaneous screens in High Definition (HD) and
Ultra High Definition (Ultra HD), where available by Netflix in Canada. Ultra UHD availability subject to
internet service, device capabilities, and content availability.

6. A broadband internet connection is required in order to access content from Netflix and participate in the
Promotion, and is not provided as part of this Promotion. A participant must obtain his/her own internet
connection.

7. This Promotion must be redeemed by 23:59 P.M E.T. on August 16, 2017 (“Deadline”) to be effective, and is
no longer redeemable after the Deadline. Any Participant who does not redeem the Promotion by the
Deadline, will be deemed to have forfeited his/her entitlement to towards obtaining Netflix Premium.

8. To redeem the Promotion, Participants must access the home screen on their Qualifying TV, locate and
select the Promotion banner/advertisement (on the wedge) and complete the step-by-step instructions. To
access the home screen, click the “Home” button on the Qualifying TV remove controller, or local key on the
Qualifying TV. Access to Netflix Premium will expire on the date that is three (3) months after successful
redemption, at which time Participants will be no longer receive access to Netflix Premium free of charge.
Participants may be contacted by Netflix (by email or pop-up) to determine if they would like to extend any
subscription at the Participants own expense, or permit their subscription to expire. Participants may need to
actively cancel their subscription to the Netflix premium plan, depending on the subscribers account setup.
Access to Netflix may be cancelled at any time. See www.netflix.com/termsofuse for further details.

9. A Netflix subscription is required. New subscribers to Netflix must register for an account, and will need to
comply with the Netflix terms of use, available at www.netflix.com/termsofuse, while redeeming the
Promotion through the Qualifying TV home screen. Existing Netflix account holders will sign in to their
account, while redeeming the Promotion, and will obtain a one-time credit to their account for the value of
the promotion. Existing Netflix account holders that are not subscribed to a Premium plan may be required to
access and change their account to the Premium plan, via www.netflix.com/changeplan. Upon expiry of the
Promotion, existing account holders who changed their plan to the Premium plan may be contacted by
Netflix and will have their plan returned to its previous settings.

10. Limit of one (1) redeemable promotion per purchased Qualifying TV.

11. If a Participant returns a purchased Qualifying TV to a participating Canadian retailer this Promotion will be
immediately voided; the Participant will no longer be considered a Participant under the Promotion, may no
longer obtain access to Netflix Premium and is not eligible to any remaining value.

12. Participants may cancel access to Netflix Premium at any time. Upon such cancellation, the Promotion will
be voided and the Participant will no longer receive access to Netflix Premium at no cost. Participants who
cancel during the three (3) months period will be deemed to void their entitlement to any remaining value
and will not receive any consideration in lieu of remaining value.

13. Promoter reserves the right, at any time and in its sole discretion, to require proof of identity and/or eligibility
 (in a form acceptable to it – including, without limitation, government issued photo identification): (i) for the
purposes of verifying an Participant’s eligibility to participate in this Promotion; (ii) for the purposes of
verifying the eligibility and/or legitimacy of any redemption; and/or (iii) for any other reason the Promoter
deems necessary, in its sole discretion, for the purposes of administering this Promotion in accordance with
these Terms. Failure to provide such proof to the satisfaction of the Promoter in a timely manner may result
in disqualification of the Participant, in the sole discretion of the Promoter. Promoter reserves the right, at its
sole discretion, to disqualify any Participant who it considers has breached these Terms or tampered with
this Promotion, in any way, including the entry process. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the
Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a
waiver of those rights. Participant agrees that the Promoter’s decision is final and binding on the Participant.

14. If, for any reason, a Participant does not do not utilize any part(s) of Netflix Premium, then any such part(s)
not utilized will be forfeited in its entirety and nothing will be substituted in its place.

15. Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, in the event that Netflix Premium, or any component of
Netflix Premium, cannot be provided as described herein for any reason, to substitute the same for another
offer of equal or greater value, without notice or liability.

16. Netflix Premium, at no-cost for a three (3) month subscription, as outlined above, must be accepted as
awarded, without substitution, and is not transferrable, refundable, exchangeable, for resale or, where
applicable, convertible to cash or other tender.

17. If, for any reason, this Promotion is not capable of being carried out as planned, including because of
tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or other causes, whether or not beyond the
control of Promoter (which may affect or corrupt the administration, security or conduct of this Promotion),
Promoter reserves the right to suspend, modify or terminate this Promotion, without any liability. All
decisions regarding the Promotion remain with the Promoter. Promoter reserves the right, in its sole
discretion, to modify, cancel, suspend and/or terminate any or all parts of the Promotion for any reason, and
may disqualify a Participant, without any liability.

18. All incidental costs and expenses associated with the Promotion (and accessing Netflix Premium) that are
not specifically referred to herein, including costs for broadband internet connections, are the sole
responsibility of a Participant. Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to not cover any costs or
expenses not referred to herein, and Participant accepts this decision, which shall be final and binding on
him/her.

19. Except in the case of death or personal injury arising from its negligence or in respect of fraud, Promoter
(including its affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents) exclude responsibility and all liabilities
arising to Participants or otherwise under the Promotion; whether indirect, special or consequential, arising in
any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any
technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft,
unauthorized access or third party interference; (c) any claim that is late, lost, altered or misdirected
(whether or not after being received by Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the
Promoter; (d) any tax liability incurred by a claimant; or (e) use or misuse of Netflix Premium. Promoter
(including its affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents) shall not be liable for any postponement,
cancellation, delay, changes to the Promotion or failure to fulfill the Promotion where such failure is caused
by any supervening event of force majeure, including without limitation the act or default of any third party
supplier.

20. By enrolling in and redeeming this Promotion, the Participant is providing his or her express consent to
Promoter to receive Commercial Electronic Message(s) (“CEM”), such as e-mails or texts, from Promoter on
(i) any matter concerning this Promotion, and (ii) CEMs from Promoter concerning its products, sales
initiatives, other promotional offers or programs of Promoter, from time to time. A Participant may opt-out of
receiving a CEM at any time by contacting LG Service Center. Each Participant consents to the collection
and use of his/her personal information by Promoter for the purposes of administering the Promotion.
Personal information will not be sold or used for any purpose other than in connection with the Promotion
without consent. Participants consent to the publication and/or use of their personal information by Promoter,
without compensation, for any publicity, advertising or informational purposes in respect of this Promotion
and future similar promotions, throughout the world in perpetuity, without future notice. Promoter’s privacy

21. The Promotion cannot be redeemed in conjunction with any other offer or promotion.

22. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between a Participant and Promoter regarding the Participant’s
participation in the Promotion and obtainment of Netflix Premium. In the event that any provision in these
Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, such determination will not affect the validity and
enforceability of any other remaining provisions in these Terms. The Promotion is governed by and will be
construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
Any cause of action arising under the Offer must be instituted in a court of competent jurisdiction in the City
of Toronto.
