I. Present Perfect Tense


Make meaningful sentences in the present perfect tense.

Take Note!

We make the present perfect tense form by putting has / have before the past participle
form of the verb.

Note that has is used when the subject is a singular noun or pronoun.

Have is used when the subject is a plural noun or pronoun.

The first person pronouns I and we take have.

I have got a long letter from father this week. (get)

The third person pronouns he, she and it take has.

He has brought a lot of English papers. (bring)

The pronouns you and they take have.

You have read many detective stories. (read)
