Step to using the Spekfotometer
1. install a sodium lamp (Na) or other light source
2. directing the spectrometer towards the lamp so that the
collimator is right in front of the lamp
3. calibrate the spectrometer and record the initial angle
when the telescope and collimator are as natural.
4. put the prism that will be determined by the refractive
index
5. Adjust the telescope in one direction until the spectral
lines appear for each wavelength
6. shift the telescope so that the cross thread coincides
with the spectrum lines
7. record the angle formed when the light spectrum has
formed, which is clearly visible.
8. continue calculating the prism refractive index and its
wavelength.
