8.! My ruler is 3” wide. Place the center line of the ruler on the center seam of the
block. Cut on both sides of the ruler.
Using any ruler, cut 1 1/2” from the center on both sides of the center seam.
You now have 9 patches. Rotate the center blocks 180˚ on all 4 sides of
both blocks. (Arrows only show which sub-
