COMPANY
Our company B. L. Sinha & Sons (BLS) in Agra (Uttar -
Pradesh, India) has been producing weights for various
applications and precision beam scales since our establish-
ment in 1953.
We recognised and accepted challenges in good times.
Rationalisation and the use of modern technology have en-
abled us to take a leading position in the sector of modern
weight manufacture today.
The position of the weight was fundamentally changed
when electronics entered into weighing technology. It
changed from a weighing instrument (In partnership with
scales) to an adjustment and testing tool for scales and
measuring devices.
The demand on weights increased constantly as electronic
weighing cells were able to be produced with greater pre-
cision and higher resolution.
BLS precision weights conforms to the standard of the Or-
ganisation Internationale de Metrologie Legale International
Recommendation (OIML R- 111).
All BLS mass standard are manufactured from the finest
stainless steel, brass and aluminium available, that has low
magnetic permeability, uniform consistency and high resis-
tance to corrosion.
Each processing step is testing constantly on the most precise
scales with calibrated standards. The environmental condi-
tions are also constantly monitored.
BLS perfection is only possible with employees who have

Mass Standard - Class E1/E2
E1/E2 weights intended to ensure traceabil-
ity between national mass standards and
weights of a lower accuracy class. The in-
tended purpose of this class weights is to do
adjustment, testing, official calibration and
calibration instruments for the quality assur-
ance of the scales with more than 1,000,000
steps in accordance with OIML R – 111.
BLS E1/E2 Class Weights
High Precision Weights -Class F1/F2
The intended purpose of the high precision
weights of classes F1 and F2 as adjustment,
testing and calibration instruments for scales
of class II and for quality assurance in accor-
dance with ISO 9001ff for scales with fewer

the lower classes (M3-F2) in accordance with

III) and for quality assurance in accordance
