Tools Required:
+ Medium-blade screwdriver
+ 9/64 (3.5 mm) Hex Key
Pedestal System:
1. Remove power from the injector.
2. Loosen and remove the two screws at the rear of the Consoie.
8. Ifthe injector does not have ECG trigger and scope, continue with
step 4,
NOTE: Ifthe injector has ECG trigger and scope, remove the
four screws retaining the bottom cover of the main
Control Panel, then remove the cover. Disconnect the
ribbon cable from underneath the chassis.
4. Grasp the front bezel and pull it forward.
5. Ifthe unit is a 20000 series Mark V Injector, skip to step 9. Ifthe
unit is above series 60000, proceed with step 6.
6. Remove the PC cards.
7. Disconnect the two (2) hamess connectors at the Motherboard.
8. Ifthe unit contains the ECG/Scope option, remove the connector
from J44.
9. Disconnect harness mount clamp and ground wire.
10. Slide the chassis out of the case.
Control Room Console:
1. Remove power from the injector.
2. Loosen the two screws (either slotted or 9/64 (3.5 mm) hex key

Pedestal System:
1. Slide the chassis into the case, aligning the chassis with the sides.

2. Ifthe unit is a 20000 series Mark V Injector, skip to step 6. If the
unit is above series 60000, proceed with step 3.
3. Connect the chassis hamess connectors to the Motherboard.
4. Connect the ground wire and J44 connector (if unit contains ECG/
Scope option).
5. Fasten hamess mounting clamp, and install the PC cards.
6. Push the chassis in until the rear of the bezel is flush with the front
of the case.
7. Install and tighten the two screws at the rear of the Console.
8. If the injector contains the ECG/Scope option, install the ribbon
cable connecting the Control Panel and the chassis. Replace the
bottom cover on the Control Panel and retain with the four screws
previously removed.
Control Room Console:
1. Tilt the Control Panel upward, and close.
2. Tighten the two screws (either slotted or hex key) at the top of the
Control Panel.

Replacement
Control Unit- Pe cards
1. (1. GRC units only) Remove the chassis shield plate by removing
the two thumbscrews.
2. In Pedestal Systems, remove the card retainer from across the top
ofthe cards. In a Control Room Console, remove the card retainer
brackets from across the edges of the cards.
8. Ifthe CPU or /O Card is being removed, disconnect the ribbon
cable connector from the VO Card.
4. Lift the inside edge of the ejector tabs on the card being removed,
then slide the card out.
1. Identity the proper slot for reinsertion it more than one card was
removed.

PPI Card Yellow
ISI Card (or dummy card) Red (none on dummy card)
2. Align the card with the proper PC card guides.
+ When facing the front of a Pedestal System, components
are located on the right side of the PC cards.
+ Ina Control Room Console, card components face
upward.
3. Insert the card into its respective slot, and align card edge connec-
tor fingers with connectors on Motherboard. Push the card firmly
to ensure that itis securely seated in the Motherboard.
4. Ifthe CPU or VO Cards are being replaced, fully insert the /O rib
bon cable into connector.
5. In Pedestal Systems, reposition the card retainer across the top of
the cards. In Control Room Console systems, reposition the card
retainers across the front edges of the cards.
6. (CRC units only) Replace and secure the shield plate with the
‘two thumbscrews previously removed.
