GAUGE:
21 sts and 30 rows = 4" (10 cm) in Embossed Square Pat.

STEP 3
INSTRUCTIONS:
Cast on 192 sts. Do not join. Working back and forth across needle, proceed as
follows:**1st row: (RS). *K1. P1. Rep from * to end of row.
 
2nd row: *P1. K1. Rep from * to end of row.Last 2 rows form Seed St Pat.  Work in
Seed St Pat until work from beg measures 2" , ending on a WS row.** 

STEP 4
Proceed in Embossed Square Pat as follows:  
1st row: (RS).(K1. P1) 5 times. Knit to last 10 sts. (K1. P1) 5 times.
 
2nd row: (P1. K1) 5 times. Purl to last 10 sts. (P1. K1) 5 times.
 
3rd row: (K1. P1) 5 times.K2. *P8. K2. Rep from * to last 10 sts. (K1. P1) 5 times.
 
4th row: (P1. K1) 5 times. P2. *K8. P2. Rep from * to last 10 sts. (P1. K1) 5 times.
